My family and I have rented homes for years all over the US. This is the first time we were disappointed in the accommodations. First of all check in is at 4pm, we arrived at 4:40pm and the owners were there doing repairs to the ceiling in the kitchen and making the beds. We couldn't unpack and relax after driving for 10 hours. The pictures are accurate, but some what misleading. It's what you don't see that is the problem. There are a lot of cosmetic fixes that is necessary. The home doesn't have central A/C, only window units and the owner asked us to turn them off when we left the house . For the record, we did not, didn't want to return to a hot uncomfortable house in Miami in June. The "master" bedroom has a portable unit which is loud and has a reservoir to collect water. It must be emptied several times a day because the unit shuts off until it's emptied, even in the middle of the night which you won't notice until you're hot. We didn't cook in the kitchen. There were lots of fruit flies and the owner, who was staying on the property, suggested I buy vinegar or an insect bomb to get rid of them. I was on vacation to relax, not to become an exterminator. Typically you expect the conveniences of home, the property doesn't have any televisions or microwave. I guess I should have paid closer attention to the amenities "not" listed. Although this home is located very close to family and I visit Miami twice a year, I will never rent it again.
