Located at 5225 Collins Avenue in the South of Mid Beach directly on the beach this location is recognized for its intimacy, charm, and direct access to the beach. It is the perfect spot for singles or families, is safe and friendly. We are less than 3 miles to the center of South Beach. Local activities include delicious eateries, fine dining, tourist attractions and night life. The beach and boardwalk are just steps away from our pool area where we have two heated pools and hot tubs. HORA VACATION RENTALS manages many of the finest units at the Alexander. Local activities and attractions include water sports, bicycling, sailing, snorkeling, boating, deep sea fishing, parrot jungle, Seaquarium, Children's Museum, Theatre, Historic Art Deco district, Wynwood, and so much more. Conveniently located just minutes from South Beach and 20 minutes from the Miami International Airport, 15 minutes from the Port of Miami, Brickell and downtown business district. Golf courses and tennis courts nearby, glamorous night life entertainment, including LIV at the Fontainebleau Hotel, Eden Roc both only 8-9 blocks away, Lincoln Mall, Coconut Grove, the Bal Harbour Shoppe's, and Aventura Mall all minutes away. IMPORTANT INFORMATION- Our property has recently completed a $35 million renovation of the interior and exterior of the building. Both upper and lower pools, Tiki bar, restaurant, and mezzanine pool deck are now open and in full operation.  
  
In the rare event that an unexpected emergency maintenance issue occurs before or during your stay, a unit will be assigned that is of equal or greater value to the unit reserved. This is not a common occurrence and rarely if ever occurs. #### Just okay

This property is just ok. It’s spacious, but the appliances, decor, and fixtures are right out of the 70s. It needs some work: toilets constantly run, water from kitchen sink leaked from corroded pipes underneath, bathroom sinks so small and practically recessed under a ledge that you hit your face while trying to wash up. Two of the televisions were inoperable ( no way to change the channel). Place is isolated in very residential area; no restaurants or shopping within walking distance. Nice pool and beach access however. Wall clock in kitchen needed a battery and was stuck on wrong time for entire stay. We had to reset all the digital clocks in the place; bedrooms, microwave, oven, as they all reflected incorrect times when we arrived. Place needs an upgrade, kinda run down and depressing.

#### Fantastic Apartment

We recently did a girls trip, 3 moms and 4 daughters to this location and I cannot say enough nice things. The place is equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is much larger than it appears and the views are amazing! The building itself also has a ton to offer. I would highly recommend!
