The air conditioning seemed poorly maintained. The change filter light kept blinking, and it often turned off during the night. I would wake up to a warm room along with the sound of loud guests and the slow, noisy elevator.There were no blackout blinds, and the fluorescent streetlights shone through large gaps in the blinds that looked like something from a discount store. The front door frame had such a wide gap that it felt like someone could see through it. The connecting door to the next room was thin, and I could clearly hear my neighbors talking as if they were in my room.The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the housekeeping team’s hard work. The bathroom needed new grout. The television was positioned awkwardly, making it hard to watch from bed. The room lacked basic furniture and proper lighting, which made eating, storing clothes, and makeup application difficult, especially for two adults.The best part was the location. It was perfect for the convention center where I was working and within walking distance to the beach and nearby entertainment. It was convenient as it was right across the street from the convention center and within blocks of the other festival activities. The room was totally different from the pictures on the listing. Staff was very accommodating to our needs like when we discovered the bolt lock on our door was broken. A repairman came the next morning. Some things were outdated or simply unsanity i.e. the ice machine in the hotel. Overall, a good place to stay. ##### Tamara J. Think "Europe" and you are good. The room is VERY basic..If you need a bed and a bathroom, this is the place for you. Our room did not have anything else. No chair, no desk, the only place to sit was the bed. I guess some rooms have those items so be sure you know exactly what is included in the room. There is one small elevator so plan on taking the stairs a lot if you can to save time. The hotel is VERY clean and the staff is very nice and accomadating.
