This property is infested with cockroaches, I requested a refund, they refused and said I should ask Expedia, the third party that booked the room. Expedia called the hotel and the the hotel refused to reimburse me. Really bad business to treat customers so poorly. Stay away unless you want to take some cockroaches back home with you.

Close to beach and good restaurants. Close to Miami Beach trolley. Quite roomy for 2 people. It felt safe. Staff always at the main reception in their other people and responsive. Be prepared that it is minimally stocked. E.g. for the kitchen there is an oven but nothing to use in the oven. Minimal towels - 2 regular towels for 2 people.

This property needs to shut down and renovate! My experience was horrible..bugs in room,dirty floors,old broke down furniture. Barely any kitchen supplies. No wash cloths! The staff was nice and tried to accommodate but there is only so much they can do when the property up keep is not up to par!

This was you get what you paid for moment. If you are young and wanna party perfect place to do it. Otherwise this was trash, the unit was dirty, they aren’t willing to give more then one extra towel, and literally good luck on getting more bedding if your staying longer. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, leaving it with a musty n grime smell. This unit also had no fire alarm, as it was sitting on Shelf in one of the closet. There was several parties going on several nights of our stay. The stove was dirty, and same for the floors. In the end, I bought my own towels, plastic forks, spoons, and plates, blankets, toilet paper, cleaning products as well. As well as when I arrived, I tried calling the front desk and NOONE answered, the staff member I dealt with to check in was rude and nasty. In conclusion; if you wanna party and don’t care about your setting then this is the place for you. If you have any type of standards with where you stay, this isn’t the place for you and I advise you to just pay the extra money and stay somewhere that is clean. Side note trying to get the staff to fixed any grievances one may have, good luck to you, one is better just getting everything one may need. Staff provides no type of help whatsoever.

The woman at the front desk is nasty, arrogent and a real b*#ch. She treated us and other guests checking in while we were there awfully. This was unfortunately witnessed and commented on by others that were staying there. She also made us pay a daily resort fee that was already paid through Expedia. She would not make to effort to check and became belligerent when asked repeatedly to check the booking. Expedia is refunding the resort fee amount and will go after the hotel for it. This was confirmed by the expedia agent moments ago. Never again!

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Staff was rude. The room did not have all amenities that are mentioned on Expedia water was dripping from the floor in the bathroom. The floor in the living room was coming up where those cracks an inch high oven didn’t work. There is no washer and dryers, and if you like their staff cussing at you in Spanish, then this might be the place for you, but it was a horrible experience. Tried to raise issues and got nothing solved through Expedia or the hotel straight. Horrible, horrible horrible

Good value stay, but out of the way.
Very enjoyable stay. I will say, though, that Beachside is a considerable distance from South Beach and amenities, though there is reliable and frequent public transport at the doorstep, including the free Miami trolley. The pool, located at 7500 Collins Steet, is not a practical option if staying in Beachside. Overall, though, the stay was good value.

They changed our address to a more remote location 4 blocks North. Help desk was not helpful at all. When we told them about the room is not matching what we booked. They said that’s only online, We don’t have these rooms available. The worst service I’ve ever seen.

The property is nice and quiet. There was transportation close at no charge but there weren’t any coffee shops or stores in that vicinity. We had to walk about six blocks.

I’ve stayed multiple times at the Beachside and Seaside properties. They are cute old Miami Beach apts with a lot of character. It’s a busy and somewhat chaotic operation with multiple buildings. Mariel & Rodrigo are great managers. They are quick and creative at solving problems and putting out fires. They were able to accommodate my needs and address any issues that came up. Overall, the apts are comfortable and the full kitchens are great for savvy travelers. It’s a really busy beach environment with many restaurants, bars, markets and businesses nearby. Cons: room keys constantly screw up, floors really hard to keep clean. The internet/tv is spotty, but who needs it when the beach is directly across the street?

Great location and the room was as expected. I did have to ask that the floors be washed on the second day since they just weren't clean. There is a number to call if you want to talk to someone at the front desk but they rarely answer. I had to ask that the room keys be re-coded EVERY DAY since I was continually locked out of the room. The room was not made up daily, had to call twice and on the day before I left, they didn't even bother to make up the room. I requested face clothes for 3 days in a row and finally received them on day 3. Lots of potential here, but overall just too many little things they couldn't get right.

This is a nice-looking small motel, but it definitely is not a resort. When I arrived to check in, having paid for my whole stay in advance, the desk clerk showed me a computer screen that supposedly showed Travelocity had not paid the motel enough money to cover my prepaid stay. He refused to let me check-in, even for a night. I was refused a room and left unhoused in Miami Beach--at 6 p.m.--and me a senior citizen with luggage and nowhere else to go. I can't express how awful this was--a vacation ruined by Beachside Motel. Be aware this place will scam you, treat you land mistreat you. Pick another place to stay. Soon after learning of what happened, Travelocity promptly refunded to me the entire prepaid cost of the stay. Thank you, Travelocity! NOT A SINGLE WORD of apology from Beachside Motel, I noticed, though, that after my experience, Travelocity started warning vacationers on its website that this motel charges extra rent ("resort fees" for no resort service) at the time of check-in. But don't let Beachside scam you. Don't book a stay there.

Hello Richard W, thank you for your review. Your room rate was covered, but you still owed the resort fees. It is listed on the website as a, "Property fee," that all guests are aware of prior to confirming the reservation. Guests cannot stay without full payment. We appreciate your feedback.

First the room I requested wasn't appreciated. Kept telling me to come back the next morning and the morning after for availability. The floors were disgusting looks like they haven't been cleaned in years, the bottom of my feet were black. I had to walk around my hotel room with shoes on and constantly had to wash my feet off. The air conditioner was broken in one room at times. Noise wasn't horrible but at times I've woken up out of my sleep. As for house keeping services, they stopped by twice and that was only to bring towels therefore, no cleaning was taken place. Shower overflowed at times due to the lack of cleanliness. Overall I would give this place 1/2 of 1 star if that was possible. Charged too much for that service, recommend somewhere else to stay.

We were positively surprised after reading many bad reviews; the room was clean and we had everything we needed, the location was alright, the wifi worked, the staff was very friendly. The microwave and washing machine were broken and there were not many utensils and cleaning supplies in the kitchen, so if you plan on staying for a while and cooking for real this might not be for you. Considering we paid less than half the price we had to pay for any other room in Miami Beach those days it was definitely worth it.
