"No better place to stay in Wynwood but staff needs"
No better location in Miami as far as I'm concerned. Walking distance to the meat of Wynwood and Wynwood Walls, a straight south into Downtown Miami/Brickell, and just a few minute drive to Miami Beach. Rooms are incredible with amazing views (street facing units at least). Truly felt like home for the few days I was here. That being said, the welcome staff needs to get on their game. It was laughable how unprofessional, for lack of a better word, they all were. We checked in around 6 PM on a Thursday night and the young man working the front desk told me that he could not check me in with a passport because it wouldn't fit in his machine's scanner. This was baffling, considering the location is in an area where international tourism is common, if not the norm. I asked him what standard procedure was if these types of guests didn't have a driver's license in the past and his response was "hope that they have something besides a passport". Thankfully I had added our second guest to the room and she had her license. Still can't get over that he wasn't going to allow me to check in with government issued ID. Next was the security guard. Not sure what his deal was but he clearly takes his job way too seriously. While I respect that he is maintaining a safe environment, he was extremely rude to my female friend (kicking her out of the pool area for setting up her hammock). He also (quite literally) jumped in front of my car as I was entering the parking garage and put out his h

Love how the apartment way surrounded by water , about 20mins away from collions ave and Washington ave. Uber was about 15 dollars per ride. The only con is that most of the Uber drivers don't speak English.

The condition of this hotel is not what the pictures show. Paid for a king bed and ocean view - got neither. This property is a condominium, so no front desk help. The "front desk" is 2 irritated rent a cops.

After visiting all of the common attractions in town, make some time to see the off-the-beaten path sites.

Make a stop at Coral Castle, a shrine to a lost love built by hand over the course of nearly 30 years. Ed Leedskalnin was only 5 feet tall and weighed 100 pounds, but he sculpted and created a temple of enormous stone art pieces that have been admired by travellers since the 1940s. Speaking of stone, skip the packed sands of South Beach and head to the Venetian Pool. Created out of a coral rock quarry in the 1920s, this public pool is pumped with fresh spring water from an underground aquifer. Don’t expect to see your standard diving boards and rubber ducks in the public pool, however. There are waterfalls built into the rock, with bridges and palm trees lining the lagoon-green waters. For something a little different, head to Freedom Tower. Once the place where Cuban immigrants were given medical care and paperwork, the tower is now a monument to refugees and the site of an art and culture museum.

Create a pretty picture for your wallet when you book your hotel apartment in Miami. Enjoy things like an in-house kitchenette so you can cook up some Cuban treats during the week, instead of eating out each day of your trip. You can also choose a locale with in-house laundry so you can avoid the chaotic laundromat down the street. Simply book your hotel in Miami right here on to find the perfect option for you.

Miami is one of those towns to linger awhile. See all of the city’s hidden features during your next extended trip to Magic City.
