"It's like renting an apartment!"
My mother and I departed our cruise ship around 9am and therefore arrived early at the Jetset Franklin. I knew we couldn't check in yet and lots of times the person behind the desk can be a bit rude, but Fred (I believe that was his name) checked our bags and got my cell - he said he will have housekeeping clean our room first so we could get in. Within a couple of hours at most I got a call and we checked in. The room was like an efficiency - pots/pans, large fridge, dishwasher, etc. and was clean. Because this hotel is right in the middle of the action it can be noisy during the day but surprisingly the night was quiet. As with all hotels in this location, there is a cool bar/lounge downstairs for your night cap and a café that serves food all day long.

Expansive apartment style accommodations. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment for 3 days. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and large enough for our small family to have our own space.

"It is worth it!"
My wife and I stayed at the Eden Roc on our wedding night 35 years ago; unfortunately, it was undergoing a major renovation at that time. I always wanted to come back with my wife to experience a fully luxurious stay - but we never made it back - until last weekend. I surprised my wife with a getaway weekend for our 35th anniversary. I went all out - with an ocean front room, flowers and a rose petal turndown service. Everything went perfectly and the hotel, staff and services were all first class! We will never forget the Eden Roc and this past weekend - what a treat for us!

"Nice hotel."
This was my first ever stay in a hotel on all my travels. I arrived at Miami airport late evening and it was reassuring to be picked up by the hotel transport as I was new to the city. The driver was very polite, nice and chatty. On arrival at the hotel I was greeted by a very nice, courteous friendly male receptionist. I was given the keys to my room and made my way upstairs in the elevator. My room was VERY nice and clean and big. The bed and bed linen were nice and clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable and I slept very well. It was just for 1 night but it was well worth the money (considering I paid more to stay in a rather shoddy hotel in Montego Bay the following night !) a kettle, cups etc were provided so I was able to make cups of tea. The bathroom was very nice and clean and hygienic (in stark contrast to Doctor's Cave Beac Hotel in Mobay). Not to mention the breakfast. It was a wonderful spread with lots of it and a great variety too ; too much to mention. Suffice to say I regretted not having enough time to eat all I could as I had to be back at the airport early to catch my flight to Mobay. The whole experience was great for my very first stay in a hotel.

My check in service guest Meilyn was terrific trully accommodating . Our room was fantastic perfect for the 6 women we all slept great. No complaints about the stay. My only complaint is that the Hotel charged me an authorization of $219 and the reservation said it would not collect money until the day of check in . I called the Hotel and was told that a refund would be given but so far it has not happened and the bill was paid at checkout it is 3 days after my trip still waiting on my money. After visiting all of the common attractions in town, make some time to see the off-the-beaten path sites.

Make a stop at Coral Castle, a shrine to a lost love built by hand over the course of nearly 30 years. Ed Leedskalnin was only 5 feet tall and weighed 100 pounds, but he sculpted and created a temple of enormous stone art pieces that have been admired by travellers since the 1940s. Speaking of stone, skip the packed sands of South Beach and head to the Venetian Pool. Created out of a coral rock quarry in the 1920s, this public pool is pumped with fresh spring water from an underground aquifer. Don’t expect to see your standard diving boards and rubber ducks in the public pool, however. There are waterfalls built into the rock, with bridges and palm trees lining the lagoon-green waters. For something a little different, head to Freedom Tower. Once the place where Cuban immigrants were given medical care and paperwork, the tower is now a monument to refugees and the site of an art and culture museum.

Create a pretty picture for your wallet when you book your hotel apartment in Miami. Enjoy things like an in-house kitchenette so you can cook up some Cuban treats during the week, instead of eating out each day of your trip. You can also choose a locale with in-house laundry so you can avoid the chaotic laundromat down the street. Simply book your hotel in Miami right here on to find the perfect option for you.

Miami is one of those towns to linger awhile. See all of the city’s hidden features during your next extended trip to Magic City.
