Ok the fact we had no desk for check was terrible. I could not check in due to a code for door and room acess never being sent to my email resulted in me not checking for 3hours until I was told about a sister property 3 blocks from where I was stay had to walk in the rain to the siater property for thwm to grant me acess codes to get into my room now at 3am. I wouls likw to be reemburst for that night and day. My TV had no working batteries and once I go batteries the TV volum did not work.

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

Nice Stay and friendly staff

During our stay, the air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly. We reported the issue more than five times, yet nothing was done to resolve it. Instead, someone was sent to our room simply to confirm that the AC was “working,” despite the room remaining uncomfortably warm. We were also given conflicting instructions by staff. One person told us to turn the fan off so the room could cool down, while another told us to keep it on. The temperature in our room was 23.5°C on the first day and 22.5°C the following day. We were told that the room could reach 21°C, but it never did. I have stayed at several RIU properties and have always had a positive experience, which makes this situation especially disappointing. This was the first time I felt that my concerns were repeatedly ignored rather than addressed. After bringing the issue to the hotel’s attention numerous times without a meaningful resolution, I am extremely disappointed with the way this was handled. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable staying at or recommending a RIU hotel in the future. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve how guest concerns are handled.
