The living room is filled with light from the wall of windows, and it has a very comfy sofa and pair of armchairs. It's a great place to read or hang out. The deck is also perfect, with a beautiful forest view, two comfy lounge chairs, and a picnic table. The kitchen is well stocked, and we appreciated the ground coffee in the fridge. The cabin and its surroundings are very quiet. There is a nice market down the hill and a cafe (Zoe) just across the highway.Here are a few things to know ahead of time. The driveway is long and steep, with a smallish flat space at the top for parking. We had to do a lot of maneuvering to turn our car around at the top, but we got better with practice. Also, we knew that there would be no wi-fi (we brought plenty of books!), but we didn't realize that our cellular service (Verizon) would have poor coverage; we had one bar most of the time. The people at Zoe Coffee House confirmed that it wasn't just us, and luckily they have wi-fi and a EV Connect 4.8kw charger nearby. There is also a 50kw CCS charger at a Chevy dealership in Jamestown.We were visiting this area to do day hikes in Emigrant Wilderness.
