It’s part of the Cuauhtémoc borough and is known for its bohemian atmosphere, tree-lined streets, beautiful architecture, and a wide range of cultural and gastronomic offerings. La Roma has a rich history, dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries when it was developed as an upscale residential area for the city's elite. Within a short walk, you can also enjoy arts, culture, parks, museums, shopping, and nightlife. Getting Around: The property is approximately 11 km to/from the Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juarez (MEX). Some options for transportation are: \- Taxi: Look for the authorized taxi stands inside the airport terminal. These taxis are safe and regulated. Ensure you agree on the fare with the driver before starting the journey. It's generally a good idea to have some local currency (Mexican Pesos) on hand to pay for the taxi ride. \- Private Car Service: Many private car services and rideshare companies operate in Mexico City. You can book a ride in advance using apps like Uber or Didi Chuxing. Other Things to Note: Please review this information before booking to ensure a pleasant stay. Beautiful, clean properties in a lovely neighborhood. Would definitely recommend for a friends trip! Hosts were communicative when we had questions. The only issue is the WiFi wouldn’t work and we were unable to get that resolved during our time there, so wouldn’t recommend for a work trip.
