The bathroom was dirty specially the shower was stuck with human hair. The sheets were dirty The matress was broken The pillows werent in the right conditions

Check in was a night mare. I renewed my room for a second night. I checked the night before (Feb. 8) to make sure I could stay in same room. Then at about 7 am I checked again with a different desk person. Both could speak English. While I was gone for the day, they packed all my stuff in a bag. I had to make a hugh deal of it, and after about 1.5 hours I, personally, found my stuff in a storage room. I would like a credit or refund for this terrible mistake on the part of the hotel. I have an early morning flight and got next to no sleep. I was given a different unacceptable room so had to move again. No apology. I had to threaten to make a police report about my missing items.

Del Ángel is a bare bones hotel. You will get the essentials and that’s it. A lot of things don’t work or don’t work well. The key cards, the room safe, for example. If you want more than two towels, you must ask. And the WiFi is hit and miss. I’ve stayed there many times, but only when I can get a very good rate. Nice staff and great area.

The Personal its pretty okay and humble. Just a little problems in the room. Definitely needs more towels, they just let us use 2 towels only for 2 people and honestly it does need more small ones for the hands

I think staying at a hostel would be better than staying at angel reforma. They had no towles had to ask the front desk. Linnen is dingy looks like bed sheets have been around for years instead of bien white they are dingy brown. No ac no heat . The only plus to the hotel is that its located in the center of things venders where awesome.

ok la ubicación, colchones viejos y chuecos, sin internet, agua fria en regaderas, lo peor fue que la señora de limpieza fue a levantar a todos en el piso a gritos y tocando las puertas ademas de repoaraciones a martillazos a las 8am. REPROBABLE QUE HAYAN HECHO ESO A TODOS EN EL PISO¡¡¡

I have stayed at Hotel del Angel many times. It is fully a no frills hotel, but a well managed property. It's a great option for some staying in CDMX who just need a place to sleep.

Me hospede en el hotel del angel porque tenia mi cita en la Embajda Americana, mi estancia en el hotel fue pesima, llegue a mi habitación, queria darme un baño y no habia toallas en la habitación, baje a solicitar unas y me dijeron que enseguida me las mandarian a mi cuarto, paso media hora y tuve que bajar de nuevo a solicitarlas y el de la recepción me dijo ten toma estas llevatelas, la tele por cable sin señal. Me meti a bañar al dia siguiente y oh sorpresa, no habia agua caliente. No se puede descansar en el hotel ya que toda la noches el sonido de las ambulancias, patrullas y el trafico en general hace pesada la noche. Hay mejores opciones por el precio que manejan.

Excelente ubicación
La ubicación es inigualable, tan solo sales y ya tienes muchísimas opciones de comida, café y entretenimiento, además de tener el ángel a dos minutos, la zona de reforma es muy bonita y segura para caminar de día y de noche, precio sumamente económico, en realidad no puedes pedir más. Los chicos de la recepción fueron muy amables, la habitación estaba limpia, la cama muy cómoda a mi parecer, la televisión no tiene muchos canales pero si vas a turistear no es necesaria, el único detalle es que el baño olía un poco a humedad pero fuera de eso todo excelente.

Nuestra habitación estaba sucia , al entrar encontramos muchas latas de cerveza , parece que solo tienden la cama y “limpian” por encima. Es muy ruidosa toda la música de los bares de enfrente se escuchan hasta las 2am , no la recomiendo las llaves no sirven tardas como media hora en abrir tu puerta. Busquen algo mejor por la zona aunque paguen un poco más.

This hotel is a basic, no frills, very affordable option in one of the best neighborhoods (for visitors) in Mexico City. The staff are competent and friendly. The 11th floor restaurant offers an affordable breakfast for about $5 U.S. with bottomless coffee. I live in the Reforma area (near the Angel). Hotel Del Angel is my go-to recommendation for visitors on a budget.

Not so excited.
Hotel room is OK. A bit simple but great location. Asked for extra towel as there is no towel mat for the bathroom. They did not provide it even though I asked twice. The following day I called again and they told me they will provide 2 towels but I need to give them the previous two. Looks like people steal their towels. I just needed extra for the floor so I don't slip on what can be a slippery bathroom floor. Disapointed with reception service.
