great location good enough for a quick weekendtrip
this is a good spot for a solo traveler in my opinion as the walls are pretty thin but it's incredibly well located and the best restaurant downstairs embassy is right there
Wonderful place! Small boutique like hotel -make sure you book a room with a bathroom if that’s not what you want otherwise you have it shared. Great great place.
It was an amazing stay, everything was very clean and cozy, staff is amazing, location and price all excellent, maybe a little inconvenient that the shared bathroom is small and only one per three rooms.
Property was in a great and safe location. Our room was nice and cozy and well maintained. And our hosts were very and attentive. Overall great stay. Would highly recommend.
I recommend Casa Panuco to anyone who's planning to stay close to the Chapultepec forest at a reasonable price. They have a great staff always there to please your needs.
This was my second time staying at Casa Panuco. The property has an onsite restaurant with many delicious options. The staff Diego, Michael, Cesar, Eric and Oscar were all super charming and engaging and saw to it that no request big or small was tended to. The neighborhood is quiet and easy walking distance or short Uber to most things. I enjoyed eating like a local and using the amenities within a few blocks radius. Affordable and economical. Thanks to the crew of PlCaeanOanuck for making my stay pleasant.
Good location to explore the city from, the room was small, but smartly designed. The bed could have been better, the kitchen is essentially useless for cooking but we weren't expecting to cook anyway. The balcony is tiny and full of mosquitos, so, meh, but the staff was helpful, the room was quite comfy, the bathroom was lovely, the restaurant downstairs was quite good. We were pretty happy.

Very affordable and walking distance of many things to do
. Was disappointed I only could get warm water. Also, I had sent in a request for the window to be closed after my first night which didn’t happen
I had the privilege to stay at Casa Panico 2/4/25-2/9/25. It beat my expectations. I was in CDMX for Zona Maco Art Fair and was out all day so it was nice to come back to a clean and relatively quiet space. There is a restaurant attached which made it very nice for some meals and the neighborhood also had plenty of dining and drinking options. I must say the operators do a great job and both Sergio and Josue were always available to guide, direct and support my stay when needed. Will stay again because of proximity, friendliness and value. Thank you Casa Panuco! Great job overall. See you next time.

This place have a nice character but I would not recommand for people 50 . The rooms are very small. The bed mattress was too hard for our liking. No screens on windows so we had mosquitoes in the room. No AC or Fan on ceiling. In April, that was limit as it was about 28 degrees during the day, cooler at night. There is a bar at the corner of the street with super loud music on Friday night, until at least 1 AM. We had a room with it own bathroom and that was ok. Hot shower and good pressure. The restaurant part of the building is great. Ambiance is great too. Overall for the price, I would recommand as its well situated - we walked a lot tho - but to younger people who dont mind little discomforts and can bounce back easily!
My fault. My second stay at Panuco I booked a room with shared bathroom by accident because the rate was the same as a room with bathroom and balcony that I had in a previous stay (rates went up drastically because Madame Xpiration date (Madonna) was in town for a concert. Well, it turned out not too bad. The fact is I more or less had the shower and toilet to myself, although across the hallway. Hotel Panuco is right above a very good litle craft restaurant terrace and I made it my home away from home office. Very friendly people and good mexican food. It’s on a quiet street, close to Reforma and calle Lurma, and walkable to Polanco. Cheap. So, back to the problem with the error in the booking. Although i was a repeat customer and I explained the snafu, they wouldn’t budge. Business is business, I understand, but I would have bern willing to throw in more money for the room with a private bathroom but no dice. I was disappointed by that. I hope they booked the much higher priced room because frankly the epidode left a sour taste.
Charming, clean and comfortable. Bodega right around the corner and restaurants to choose from. Easy to punch in the code and you're home. Thanks for a great stay!

The room was clean but it was so small it made it quite claustrophobic for 5 nights. Also the room was a bit rough with missing paint etc. There are other bigger rooms available. We expected a bit more space / better quality for the money we paid, so would recommend guests check what room you are booking before booking. Otherwise, hotel was fine. Lovely patio with kitchen and eating area. Staff were kind. Neighbourhood was very safe and pretty. Our room wasn't cleaned at all whilst we were there, nor our bins emptied which was disappointing. I think this should be done automatically not only upon request.
