Casa Pancha is the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at! Our private room was amazing and all the volunteers were incredibly helpful. Definitely would recommend
Casa Pancha is a centrally located and wonderfully friendly hostel to stay at while you are visiting Mexico City. I would highly recommend it to any travelers!
Absolutely amazing. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. We are not the usual hostel customer, but we felt welcome nonetheless. There was always someone there to help.
Great location near hundreds of amazing restaurants and easy access to public transit.
We did not partake in the activities, but they had something to do everyday.
Also had a nice complimentary breakfast of yogurt, fruit, granola, and toast.
They also always had coffee and filtered water.
Casa Pancha is beautifully designed. However, while its clear they invested in aesthetics, they really did not consider acoustics. Being a completely cement building with thin walls, every sound in and outside of this hostel echoed. My room was on the first floor but I could hear conversations on the fourth floor as clear as day. It was at the back of the hostel but I could still hear street noise from my room at all hours. My private room also had no windows or fan which meant it got quite hot in the afternoons. I am not a light sleeper and I’m accustomed to the noise of the big city but I did have to work and take meetings, so ultimately this was not a great stay for my needs. The service and amenities were nice though and the location (apart from the noise from the very busy street) was ideal.
Super everything: staff, confort, cleanliness, commune areas, location...
The only one possible improvement I see would be to have more carbs at the breakfast...
