The hotel staff was very nice and helpful…always available. The room was good and clean. The area is a little questionable, however, I am very comfortable walking areas in Mexico so I was fine…not everyone may feel the same way though. The room was a good size, but it was very hot during the summer months. There is a small fan that is provided that did help some, but buying another made it more comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and there was good water pressure. The area is a bit outside of the very downtown core (Zocalo), but you can walk there in half an hour without issue. For people going to vacation NOT definitely, it’s too many blocks from zocalo and the streets alone after the store closing. Unsafe por walking people. I thought it said free breakfast when booking but nothing available and was not told about it when checking in. Also, we found a roach in the room. The room is rather small but also extremely clean and comfortable. The area looks a bit sketchy even if it’s actually very close to Zocalo. It’s not recommended to walk back late at night.
