Shopping in the Outletcity Metzingen and at the same time wonderful central living in a historic city villa from 1892 offers the Villa Landenberger. A real gem and one of the last city villas in Metzingen. The villa is in an ideal location. Bakers, butchers and supermarkets, the Metzingen outlet and the train / bus station are within a 300m radius. Live in historical rooms that were lovingly restored in 2018 with attention to detail.

In addition to very large, inviting rooms, the wooden flooring with a solid floor impresses with a great wellness area, which offers a sauna (for a small extra charge), a large bathtub and a beautiful shower area with a natural stone wall. Likewise, the cozy living room invites you to a cozy get-together after an eventful day of shopping in the outlets of Metzingen. In summer you can end the day with a glass of wine under the cherry tree in the courtyard.  
  
The apartment "Annemarie" has a fully equipped high quality brand kitchen with a subsequent dining area. 2 very large inviting bedrooms (20 and 25 sqm), 1 children's room (which could also be used by an adult), which also allows 2 sleeping places, ensure a perfect sleeping experience and the wellness bath complete the historical luxury. The apartment also has 2 toilets and a small balcony.  
  
Feel historical: Christian Landenberger (1862-1927), one of the best-known German painters for landscape portraits, was a frequent guest at Villa Landenberger, as his two brothers lived in the beautiful city villa.  
  
BOSS, NIKE, Adidas, Levis, Converse and the many, many other outlet stores in Metzingen can be reached quickly after a few meters. You will also find many restaurants and bars. Bakers, butchers, supermarkets, banks can also be found in the immediate vicinity, as is the Metzingen train and bus stations. The Villa Landenberger has a sensationally central, yet very quiet location, where you don't notice much of the pulsating outlet shopping, but you can immerse yourself there very quickly.

Zentral gelegene großzügig geschnittene Altbauwohnung , sauber , gut ausgestattet , ruhig gelegen. Negativ war , dass der Kaminofen und die Whirlpoolbadewanne nicht benutzt werden dürfen . Des Weiteren ist die Benutzung der Sauna kostenpflichtig( 29 Euro) . Kaffeemaschine war eine andere als auf dem Foto ( andere Pads) und es befand sich lediglich 1 Spülmaschinentab in der Küche- auch Toilettenpapier war abgezählt . Bei solchen Kleinigkeiten könnte man großzügiger sein, denn die Wohnung an sich ist wirklich empfehlenswert

Spacious apartment, especially for Europe. Plenty of room to cook, eat, and hang out. 2 of the 3 bedrooms were very large with comfortable beds. The 3rd bedroom was also comfortable but smaller - perfect for a single person/kid/teen. The bathroom with shower was very spacious and modern. The location of the apartment is ideal. Metzingen has an assortment of restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the apartment (not to mention the shopping, which we didn't actually do). The grocery store Aldi is only 0.1 miles away as well. We chose this apartment because it was convenient driving distance to our points of interest. (Tubingen, Stuttgart, Urach, Marbach, Lichtenstein, the Black Forrest, and even the Bodensee). Street parking was never an issue right in front of the apartment.Our host was always reachable and the check-in/out process was quite easy.

Our stay at the villa was wonderful. The property was just as described - very charming, and close to all of the shops. Stefanie was incredibly receptive and accommodated all of our needs. It was such a pleasure staying there and I would highly recommend it. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Metzingen.

#### Riesig, gemütlich, zentrumsnah

Einchecken ging nach Anweisung per Mail problemlos über Code. Die Wohnung ist ausgesprochen weitläufig, zu viert fanden wir für jede(n) einen Arbeitsplatz für ein Arbeitstreffen. Das Gebäude ist ein Altbau, mit knarzenden Dielen muss gerechnet werden. Whirlpool außer Funktion, war für uns irrelevant. Richtig bequeme Matratze!

#### Tolle Wohnung, die eine Generalüberholung benötigt

Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen. In Fußnähe befinden sich Supermärkte und Bäckereien, sowie Bahnhof und Apotheke. Auch ein Spaziergang auf den nah gelegenen Weinberg lohnt sich.Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und groß genug für 2 Familien mit Kindern. Die Inneneinrichtung ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und Schäden durch andere Gäste wurden leider nicht behoben. Für die Vermieter ist das natürlich ärgerlich, aber solch ein Investitionsstau schadet nur dieser Wohnung und ihrem Potential. Die Sauberkeit war auf den ersten Blick in Ordnung, konnte uns dann doch nicht überzeugen: Spinnenweben hingen von der Decke und unter dem Bett lag sehr viel Staub. Der Austausch mit der Gastgeberin war super und unkompliziert..schnelle Antworten und ein schnelles Austauschen der kaputten French Press (Kaffee muss sein). Die Emails im Vorfeld mit den Informationen und Beschreibungen waren sehr ausführlich und herzlich geschrieben.

Stefanie is a wonderful host! Her communication was excellent! We needed to change our dates and she quickly responded and made sure everything worked out perfectly. The apartment was great! Plenty of space, clean and a fabulous location! We’ll be back!

We had a great experience at the Annemarie apartment. The host, Stefanie, was very responsive to any questions we had. Currently, there is construction in front of the apartment but that didn't cause us much inconvenience. I would recommend this property.

Nur ein paar kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge fürs Bad: Deckenlicht anbringen (die Beleuchtung über den Waschbecken reicht nicht bis zur Toilette), mehr Haken zum Aufhängen von z.B. Handtüchern anbringen, Beleuchtung in der Sauna anbringen, die Whirlpoolfunktion der Badewanne war leider abgeschaltet, aus hygienischen Gründen. Küche: es fehlt eine Schere.
