The views were incredible and the location of the hotel was great for surrounding areas. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, can't recommend this hotel enough! We will be coming back next year definitely worth staying here.
we stayed that lovely bed&breakfast. staff are very friendly. hotel is comfortable. our room was too big with a kitchen, fridge.
we had a little garden infront of our room, beach is just 5-10 min walk. there is free parking. strongly recommended
The room was clean and bright with a lovely balcony overlooking the secluded pool area. It was compact but was fine for a short stay and had air con which was a must while we were there in august. The owner was friendly and helpful and gave us information on transport etc in the local area and places to eat. Breakfast is not included but you can pay for a simple breakfast of coffee and a pastry (we didn't do this so I cant comment).
The hotel is in Meta, a village near Sorrento. The train can take you into sorrento but does not come back later at night so you really need to have dinner in Meta or Piano di Sorrento, there are a few nice places to chose from but if you are walking you have to walk on the road in places because the villages don't really have continuous pavements and its hilly!

Very close to the local railway and the drop off point for the airport bus service to Naples.
The apartments are set away from the tourist spot. When you exit the door you are imeadiately in part of the old town.a couple of doors up is a great shop doing fresh baked bread and a host of local delicacies.
We had a standard apartment which was more than adequate at a very reasonable rate.the higher priced ones must be special.
The owner Luginee spoke perfect English and was help full in the extreme.
All in all a great experience.

We arrived late and found our room to be very small and it was was not big enough for our family. We asked for an upgrade and within one hour we were in a two bedroom bungalow! This was sorted out so quickly and they were happy for us to pay the difference at the end of our stay. The bungalow we were given had the most amazing views from the bedroom windows and the private patio. We were looking over the beach and the Bay of Naples. also it was only 10 min to the beach down the steps!!
Every time we saw the staff in their office they were pleasant and friendly.
The accommodation was basic , but absolutely fine for our needs and the location was the best we have ever had on holiday with the most amazing sunsets from the comfort of our patio. There was a problem with ants which you get everywhere. We bought some ant spray and used this every day so the problem was sorted.
Meta is a great place to stay when exploring the area and we were able to do lots during our stay.
An oasis of calm run by welcoming and charming hosts and their adorable dog Amalia. After a hectic day of sight seeing it is the perfect place to relax. Maria and Salvatore ensure you have an unforgettable stay.
As a bonus we were given a guided tour of the splendid garden.

Villa Pollio is a great place to stay near Sorrento without the huge price tag attached. It was everything we needed. Great, clean room with private bathroom, breakfast supplied in the room, car parking, and only 2 minute walk to the train station.
the personal touches were first class. Alberto kept in contact from the moment we booked. He supplied us with fresh oranges and lemons from his beautiful garden, and was always available if we needed anything. He even helped us book a tour when we had difficulty booking it because nobody could speak English. The girl who cleans and looks after the apartments (I think her name was Alissa?? Or something like that) was also lovely and extremely helpful. We would book this apartment again if we ever returned to the area. We would not hesitate in recommending Villa Pollio to anybody.
Thank you Alberto for a lovely stay.

The ancient port town of Meta di Sorrento sits on the plain east of Sorrento and boasts the region's longest beach, Spiaggia Alimuri. The 18th-century Basilica, with its beautiful frescoes, is the symbol of the town and a must-see. Known for its delicious wine and food, visitors to this area in August can enjoy the Fior di Latte cheese festival, celebrating one of the popular local cheeses.
