The village offers traditional taverns and a grocery store for your daily needs, while nearby beaches and attractions—like Ancient Messene (13 km)—invite you to explore the authentic local charm.

The Space:  
Designed for comfort and simplicity, this naturally lit home blends modern amenities with the quiet charm of village life. Its open-plan layout features a fully equipped kitchen, a warm dining area, and a cozy lounge with wood details and a calming, minimal design. Soft earthy tones and natural textures create an inviting atmosphere throughout.  
  
The home is fully air-conditioned and includes a Smart TV in the living area—ideal for unwinding after a beach day or exploring the nearby attractions. Two thoughtfully arranged bedrooms, each with a double bed, offer restful spaces for couples or adults. A cozy lounge with a comfortable double sofa bed can accommodate children or extra guests. Located in the peaceful, traditional village of Eva in Messinia, this countryside retreat offers an authentic Greek experience surrounded by olive groves, rolling hills, and timeless local character. The village offers all the essentials: a mini-market, cafés, and local tavernas—perfect for a relaxed, authentic stay. Its location makes it an ideal base for exploring Messinia’s beaches, ancient sites, and natural beauty.  
  
🏖️ Beaches  
Just a 15-minute drive away is Bouka beach (12 km), a quiet, sandy stretch ideal for swimming and relaxing. Other options include Analipsi (14 km), Ditikis Kalamatas and Velika (both 16 km), and Petalidi (18 km). The vibrant coastal city of Kalamata is just 21 km away, where a long promenade runs alongside a wide beach lined with palm trees, cafés, and beach bars. For a day trip Voidokilia Beach (50 km), is known for its perfectly symmetrical omega shape and turquoise waters. Next door is the peaceful Gialova Lagoon, a protected wildlife reserve ideal for birdwatching and nature walks.  
  
🏛️ Historical & Archaeological Sites  
Just 13 km from the property is Ancient Messene, one of Greece’s most impressive archaeological sites. This beautifully preserved ancient city features a vast stadium, agora, temples, an amphitheater, and defensive walls that bring history vividly to life. Adjacent to the ruins is the Archaeological Museum of Ancient Messene, where fascinating artifacts from the site are on display.  
  
Further afield lies the Palace of Nestor (40 km), one of the best-preserved Mycenaean palaces in Greece, referenced in Homer’s epics. The nearby town of Chora (35 km) hosts the Archaeological Museum of Chora, with relics and treasures unearthed from the surrounding area.  
  
If you're up for a day trip, head south to the stunning Venetian fortress of Methoni (50 km), which stretches dramatically into the sea. The nearby seaside town of Koroni (also 50 km) offers castle ruins, charming alleys, and traditional tavernas set along the waterfront. And for a truly awe-inspiring experience, the Temple of Apollo Epicurius in Bassae (70 km)—a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in the Arcadian mountains—offers ancient grandeur in a remote, dramatic setting.  
  
The lively city of Kalamata (21 km) combines beach charm with urban culture. Explore the Kalamata Castle, wander through the atmospheric Old Town, or visit the Archaeological Museum of Messenia for insight into the region’s deep history. Kalamata also boasts great restaurants, stylish cafés, boutique shopping, and a long seaside promenade that comes alive at night.  
  
🌿 Natural Attractions  
About 30 km from Eva, the Polylimnio Waterfalls offer a shaded trail through a lush gorge leading to a chain of waterfalls and turquoise pools, while Neda Waterfalls (60 km) promise a secluded, hidden within the forest and ideal for a scenic hike.  
  
Getting Around:  
The accommodation is conveniently located just 10 km from Kalamata International Airport and the central KTEL bus station in Kalamata. You can reach the village by car or bus, with a local bus stop in the village.
