The desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and had all the amenities you would need with the exception of a hair dryer. We did notice that other motels did not provide dryers, either. It was a bit of an inconvenience. The pillows were very lumpy from frequent washings, but at least they were clean!
We enjoyed our stay here. We didn't take advantage of the amenities like the pool, jacuzzi or in room massages, but probably would on another visit. The only thing this resort needs to reconsider is how on earth they think it's a good business plan to charge for Wi-Fi. I would much rather pay a fee to use the pool or jacuzzi than pay for something that most retailers offers for free.
We were there visiting my sister. The hotel was located near the expressway, not far from where she lives. Our room was very comfortable and the staff was there to take care of us. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but it was something to eat. I would stay another time I might be in Arizonia.
Mesa is a popular nighttime hangout. Locals head to the major streets around Fiesta Mall—including Alma School, Baseline, Dobson, and Southern— to dine and drink. Baseball spring training takes place at Hohokam Stadium, a famed Cactus League venue. The Mesa Arts Center hosts performing and visuals arts, while the Arizona Museum of Natural History displays a large dinosaur fossil collection.
