"River view"

"Check in was a breeze, enjoyed the pool with the family before going off property for dinner near by. Room was spacious, bright and clean. Comfortable beds and convenient amenities such as a microwave and mini fridge. The hotel advised they were undergoing some renos (did not disturb our stay) and provided us with complimentary bottle waters in the room with a bag of chips. Fresh, hot breakfast the next morning and lovely staff."

"Very modern rooms. Clean. Bathroom on main floor is very dated strangely but most people wouldnt see this. I just couldnt give all stars for property condition"

"If you are driving through Carleton Place or need a place to stay this is the place for you. The staff are incredible they are extremely kind and hospitable. I didn't get the chance to get the names of everyone but special shout out to Dreamie and Pranash for always being so awesome as well as the house keeping and breakfast staff! "This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Spacious, beautiful, thoughtful design. Luxurious decor in lobby, hallways and restaurant. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious with thoughtful touches. There was live entertainment in the restaurant in the evening which added to the already lovely ambiance. It felt rich but not pretentious. The wait staff were lovely as well. Breakfast was perfect! Loved that it was table service, selections were great and had a lovely view of the river. We would love to come back in the summer when all the patios are open! "

"It’s a nice suite that’s well stocked with what you need to be comfortable. It’s a quiet area with plenty to do. We loved walking through the area and exploring. My only observation is that the Sunrise Suite is very aptly named as it is bright even with the curtains. There’s a skylight over the pullout bed that doesn’t close. If you like lots of sunshine, you will love it! Finally, the owner is thoughtful, flexible, and helpful."
