This cabana offers gorgeous views of the Mermentau River as well as scenic swamp views. Relax on the large deck over the water while you enjoy the sunrise and/or sunset. Deck has plenty of seating as well as a grill area. Private boat launch on site, plenty of parking available to our renters. This studio style apartment is very private, offers guests a full kitchen, full size bathroom, queen bed, sofa in sitting area, breakfast table and stools, outdoor screened in patio with seating and grill. Outside of the cabana we offer a fire pit with plenty of chairs as well as a picnic table to enjoy your meals outside while taking in the beautiful view! No laundry room accessible. We do offer kayak rental add on! Cabin was small but perfect for the two of us. Property and cabin were well kept and the location was about as peaceful as it can get. Caught a couple of fish and the dock was well equipped for cleaning and scaling them on the spot. Communication with the host was great as well (I probably bugged them more than necessay). I had to contact the owner for assistance and notify him of the issue. Water had been turned off due to freezing weather so there was not a problem with the lines it was just isolated for freeze protection. The owner was super nice and explained to me the location of the water meter and I turned it on, and all was good from then on! The stay was great, and it was a very nice please.
