Summary:
Enjoy a private space in a quiet neighborhood to relax, enjoy and call home during your stay in sunny Chelem. The newly screened in open air great room style front patio is the perfect area to sip your coffee while watching the sunrise, enjoy your meals at the 2nddining area, and offers plenty of room to entertain friends and family. This fully furnished home, 70 meters from one of the most beautiful beaches in Yucatan, offers everything you need. Two living room seating areas, dining room, and full kitchen. The main bedroom offers a queen bed and ensuite. Your guests will be comfortable in their own room with a queen bed and guest bathroom.
The Neighborhood:
It would be easy to spend your stay enjoying the beach just outside your door. But if you want to explore a little more, make the 20 min drive to the newly renovated Puerto Progreso Malecon, a 30 min drive to the beautiful Merida. Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Izamal (The City of Gold), Santa Barbara cenotes and many, many more historical Mayan sites are within a 2-hour drive. No car? That’s ok, Tuk tuks, taxis, Uber, and private drivers are all available for hire.
Getting Around:
There are Tuk tuks, Uber, combi bus, and private drivers in the area.
Other Things to Note:
Because we are a small fishing village on the Gulf of Mexico the area can have power and internet outages. If this should happen the hosts will do everything in their power to get these services restored however there will be no refunds or discounts due to loss of utility services.
