It’s a perfect pairing! • Moon Lake Trading Company – 10 min drive A quaint café known for delicious breakfast and lunch options. A great place to stop for a casual bite. • Cloudland Canyon State Park – 35 min drive Explore one of Georgia’s most scenic state parks with hiking, picnicking, and stunning views. Most cars can easily access the home and nearby areas. There is no public transportation, so bringing your own vehicle or renting one is preferred. ➤ Early check-in and late checkout may be available but are not guaranteed. ➤ Indoor Fireplace - Seasonal (October - May) ➤ Exceeding maximum occupancy is not permitted. ➤ No third-party bookings (must book under your own account). ➤ No parties, events, smoking, vaping, marijuana use, or open flames (candles, incense, sage). ➤ Quiet hours are between 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please keep noise to a minimum. ➤ No pets are allowed. ➤ Charcoal for grill NOT provided. ➤ Outdoor Firepit. Firewood provided. ➤ Security cameras are installed outside the property for safety. \*Thank you in advance for your understanding and compliance with the rules.\* 1\. Cancellation Policy for Direct Booking Long-Term Reservations (30 days or more): • For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies. • Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date. • A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. • No refund will be provided for cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the scheduled check-in date. 2\. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival. 3\. If you are local and / or under the age of 23 please notify us before making your reservation. 4\. We will charge a small, non-refundable damage waiver fee to cover any potential accidental property damage during your stay. This fee replaces the traditional security deposit. 5\. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform\`s cancellation policy. 6\. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud. 7\. No parties or events allowed. 8\. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible. 9\. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no \`smoking\` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and \`use of fire\` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed. 10\. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund. 11\. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 10:00 am. We\`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them. 12\. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in). 13\. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property. 14\. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit. 15\. No pets are allowed. 16\. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos. 17\. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera. 18\. Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, for any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits, reschedules, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances. 19\. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a $50 Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week. 20\. Very relaxing and we loved the style of the place. It was a relaxing place with a beautiful view. I loved the dvds they had there. My husband and I watched so many of them it was so fun just watching them and relaxing with the view. The hot tub was wonderful and we still enjoyed it even with the 28 degree weather. Expansive view of the valley below. Unlike other places, they provided a good supply of consumable products (detergents, toilet paper, trash bags, etc.). Lots of “extras” in the hoiuse like movies and to go cups and nice towels. Highly recommend and such a fun little mountain retreat with nearby unique shops, restaurants and hiking! ##### Any P. Communication with property management was poor with copy/paste responses to my inquiries that failed to address the issue. Several minor maintenance problems that should have been addressed and rectified prior to any guest check in as they were quite obvious. Enjoyed our stay, but have stayed at several other properties in Mentone, and would not stay in another property managed by Mentone Mountain Getaways since there are many other options in the area. ##### Stephanie B.
