Menlo Luxurious executive mansion over 4000sqft Pls do NOT do an ‘instant booking’ before reading all of this. Pls pls pls note our rates posted here are for LODGING only. To host ANY kind of gathering or parties or celebrations, we charge $1500 for up to 15 people attending (regardless of how many less people might be staying overnight) and it goes up from there. IF you are planning parties while respecting our quiet time house rules, You need to ask FIRST before booking as we may not allow such gathering to begin with. Our guests need to pls pls respect my own children and my neighbors’ need for peace harmony and quiet hours with NO one allowed to stay in the yards after 11pm. Only Moderate but not loud noise during the day. Also We do NOT allow smoking of ANY kind inside nor around the house in the yards. We have extremely restrict rules for quiet hours and loud noise and enforce them diligently and those very few who have disregarded them in the past, have been removed and escorted out by the police. We don’t want that for your celebration day nor for our neighbors nor myself (we live only two doors down). We have security cameras all around outside premise of the house. If these terms are not something you are comfortable with, pls pls pls do NOT book with us. Thank you for understanding and my sincere apologies for these strong words here to those 95% of our guests who have been truly wonderful and cooperative and we like to reduce that 5% to zero. Hence we are adding these words here. We are warm respectful caring people but also deeply care for harmony of our community and neighborhood as well. This beautiful sunny two story executive 4050 sqft mansion 5BR/4BT and 2-car garage house is located on the West Menlo Park / Atherton border. The family/theater room is quite large and private and can be turned into sixth bedroom. Ask how you may get discount by being a repeat customers respecting house rules. Only a mile away from famous Rosewood hotels and spa. Given its location and quality of space and amenities, it is definitely worth over $1000/night value offered at these very low introductory rates to provide excellent and memorable experiences and services toward becoming a superhost on Airbnb. It’s priced even lower than one tiny single room in Rosewood. Why stay there and be limited to a tiny room when for less amount you can stay in this beautiful mansion with its own jetted spa bathtub while you can still be few minutes away from all that Menlo Park offers. Within 1.2 mile radius of: 1\. Downtown Menlo Park and great restaurants and coffee shop and variety shops. 2\. Stanford University, Stanford shopping center, Stanford golf course, Stanford dish hiking routes, Stanford hospital 3\. Rosewood spas and hotel. 4\. Multi $B venture capitals in case you are making a pitch for your startup. 5\. Only 2miles to down town Palo Alto famous University Ave and Watercourse ways Day Spa 6\. 20-25 min drive to both SFO and SJC airports. 7\. 30-35 min to Downtown San Fran. The house was perfect for our large extended family (aunts, uncles, mom, siblings, kids (10, 13, 16). We were all comfortable in the house and were able to entertain friends who came by.The house was clean and in a great location for us. The home offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own privacy while still giving us great areas to gather together. It was incredibly clean, well-supplied, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The owner was a fantastic communicator—friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Parking was easy and convenient, and the quiet neighborhood made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Everything in the home worked perfectly, and we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. Couple of restaurants walkable from the house (Lulu's, Dutch Goose and Avanti Pizza) that were all really good. We hit Lulu's multiple times, since we were traveling from the east coast and west coast mexican food is just way better. Lots of room, great backyard outdoor space. I know this next comment is specific, but we stayed a week and cooked a few nights. Kitchen was nice, but could use a large pot for cooking multiple packs of spaghetti/pasta. Had to cook one box at a time, which was tough when you have 8 hungry guys. Also Mike, the knives could use a sharpening ;). Again, this was very specific to our group, but just a heads up if you want to cook a large meal for 6+ people. Also, could have used more tupperware for the leftovers. Mike was super responsive with any questions/concerns, which we really did not have. The keycode stopped working one day but he fixed next morning. We could access through the garage as well so it worked. Overall good house in good location, easily accessible to PA, SFO and highways. ##### AJ D. This is a nice place in a nice location near Stanford. Not unlike many home rentals, it is the final resting place of a myriad of mismatched furniture and styles, but perfectly comfortable. As the rating stars would indicate, it is clean, and the host is communicative. But perhaps to a fault. My only point of concern was the constant barrage of notes reminding us of the rules. It almost became a game for us to find all of the notes and signs that warned us of the ramifications of breaking the various rules. I understand that some renters may not be respectful of short term rental units, but we kind of found it a bit overbearing for responsible folks like us. It made it difficult to feel comfortable.
