Built in 1920 as Cedar Grove Baptist Church and operated under many names through the years. It has been vacant since 1986\. The church has since been "saved" by Griffin Elkington who turned it in to this 4 bed/2 bath Airbnb all while saving the integrity of the outside stone facade. Managed by Superhosts 10 years straight!!! The Space: \- Open space living room, dining room, kitchen that's perfect for family gatherings. \- 3 queen beds \- 2 twin beds \- Fully stocked kitchen \- 2 full bathrooms (both shared among the 4 bedrooms) \- 2 free parking spots in back Guest Access: The whole space is yours. You'll have access to both front and back doors by digital code. Parking is in the back. The Neighborhood: Make your way to the Cooper Young Neighborhood in Midtown Memphis. I need to add that the water pressure in bathrooms is awesome. I have been in VRBO's where the water pressure is horrible. Here is it nice and hot. The only downside was that the Livingroom tv would not stay connected to the WIFI. I had to use the Hotspot on my phone in order for us to watch movies.
