Built in 1920 as Cedar Grove Baptist Church and operated under many names through the years. It has been vacant since 1986\. The church has since been "saved" by Griffin Elkington who turned it in to this 4 bed/2 bath Airbnb all while saving the integrity of the outside stone facade. Managed by Superhosts 10 years straight!!! The house was amazing, very clean and new, excellent hosting made everything easy. I was concerned about security/safety just based on Memphis reputation lately, but I was very pleasantly surprised, I felt comfortable the entire stay. I need to add that the water pressure in bathrooms is awesome. I have been in VRBO's where the water pressure is horrible. Here is it nice and hot. The only downside was that the Livingroom tv would not stay connected to the WIFI. I had to use the Hotspot on my phone in order for us to watch movies.
