Clean, comfortable bed, quiet enough although on Highway. Solo traveler ok place for the cost. Only negative was that the hot water was running out as I finished my shower.

Convenient location, friendly staff, great price for a one night stay. Quiet a/c. Bed wasn’t the best, but we slept well. The toilet tank kept running making loud noises, so we turned the water valve off. I would stay here again.

Expedia marketed these rooms as having queen beds. When we arrived, they were small full—barely wider than a twin. My husband literally had to sleep in the car. The deadbolt to our room would NOT LOCK. The stairways have crumbling concrete substitute over diamond tread. The property would not pass a building inspection.

Clean, safe, secure night's rest
This is a perfect stop-over place for a one-night sleepover that doesn't require dining or pool amenities, or the cost associated with those amenities. (There is a laundry facility on site.) The rooms are very clean and comfortable. As a female traveling solo, personal safety is a special concern for me. Childress is a notably safe town and the owners of this Motel 6 have been invested in the community and this property for years. Clientele appear to be travelers and families. No drama. Although Amarillo is the true center point between destinations, I take the opportunity to stay here and spend the savings on my grandson.

I choose Motel 6 for the simple reason that they accept dogs for no charge. The front desk got mad because I had dogs. He flat out said that they don’t like dogs there. Than said I had to give a deposit. I refused and at 1 am he canceled my reservation. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Wont be returning.
Room and area were good. I treaveled with disable parents and because we both have dogs one of us had to go upstairs. So I spent some time going up and down to settle my parents in and then my dogs. Front desk staff was flat and did not even bother to try to accommodate our situation.
