This hotel is surprisingly dingy, especially for the price point. The "business center" is a table with two defunct computers right next to the hotel bar. The door on our bathroom was installed backwards, making it only possible to lock from the outside, and therefore it is very easy to end up trapped inside. Worst of all is that we were forced to pay $22/night for parking, when parking was listed as free in the booking.

This is overall a nice hotel. My family on the 8th floor had a nice stay. We were on the 9th floor. The hallway outside our room reeked of smoke. We had issues with the toilet flushing the entire stay. We also didn’t have a blow dryer in our room but got one.

AC did not work in the first room I was provided. Once I got a new room, I had someone knocking on my door trying to get into my room stating they had been assigned my room by hotel staff in the lobby. I would not recommend this hotel. I also will not be staying at this hotel again during my business travels. The room was not cleaned once in a 5 day stay.

There was literally no one at the desk or on the property to check me in when I arrived at 12AM, even after calling to let them know I'd be a late check in. Was only able to even gain access to the building / lobby when someone else happened to come up with a key. The front desk had a sign that said, "someone will be here soon" but no one showed up for over an hour.

We were passing through on our way down to New Orleans and had planned to stay in Memphis. We had a bit of senior moment when booking as we didn't realize it was the weekend of the NCAA BB tourney. So lots going on in the area. We got in later than we wanted to so we stayed in the room for the night. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. All we really wanted.

Overall the property was nice. There was one issue that was a little disgusting where a dirty bath towel was left on the back of the bathroom door. Gives you the vibe of did they really clean so I had to clean the bathroom myself.

We had never been to Memphis, and I was a little unsure of a place to stay. I read the reviews and was still unsure. I took the chance and booked this place. When we got there, the check-in staff was very nice and polite and friendly. Throughout our whole three days here all the staff were very polite and friendly and helpful. The room was a little dirty. There was someone else’s trash on the floor but just a little bit. I did pick it up and throw it away. Everything else felt pretty clean. I did see one bug but only one the whole time. The coffee maker (Keurig) in the room did not work, and that was a bummer for my husband. In the morning, there was complementary coffee. But he’s an all day coffee drinker, so he was a little bummed in the evening. The hotel was within walking distance to Beale Street and other attractions, which made it nice! Also, the public transportation helped. This hotel also had a shuttle that would take you within a 3 mile radius and that was awesome! Overall I would say it was a good stay. Not luxurious and not fancy, but it was good for what we needed.

I don't know how anyone rated this hotel less than 5. I drove there apprehensive based on what some folks had to say. But I was pressed and out of options. Thank goodness I booked here regardless of the trolls. EVERYTHING was exceptional. Location, parking, check in, staff, cleanliness, shuttle to the hot spots, breakfast and check out. Top notch. Thank you Crown Plaza.

Smells kind of stale. Rooms are not worth the money, my bathroom was small, dirty, and had a lot of rust. Sheets on beds had stains. The bus that takes you downtown is about the best thing this hotel offers. The front desk staff was super nice and helpful. The bartender and breakfast staff were also very nice. The people cleaning rooms were very rude.

Try not to park in lower level.
Original room had no hot water. Had to move. Breakfast was overpriced and underwhelming. Lower level parking had something funky dripping on my car. Mostly on windshield which wiped off. But some on painted pillar that I couldn’t get off. Otherwise all good.
