Country Living in the City, Relax!!

Our large, spacious 2 BR 1 BA Brick Home is located on a 1/2 acre lot in a great safe location 15 min to anywhere in the City. It has four full size beds. Two beds in each bedroom. It sleeps up to eight people if 2 people sleep to a bed. It's walking distance to Shelby Farms Park & the Green Line bicycle/walking path. Our home has a large, fully equipped kitchen with a full set of pots and pan, bakeware, blender, handmixer, dishes - everything you need to cook a nice meal. Our house has a Wine Cooler, Breakfast Bar, Washer/Dryer, iron and ironing bed. 1 Gig internet.

The house can sleep up to 8 people if 2 people sleep per bed. Please keep in mind that there is only 1 bathroom if you choose to book 8 people.

For those traveling with small children. Our home is NOT baby proof. The outlets are not covered and cabinets do not have safety latches on them.

This house is not able to accommodate parties. Please do not book if you are looking for a place to hold a party.

Our updated and remodeled home was the original farmhouse built in 1938 and the neighborhood was the farm. Over time the farmer sold off parts of his land and the neighborhood built up around it. Several of the homes in the neighborhood are on large pieces of land (2 acres to the left of us and two acres across the street from us) and many other of the houses are just normal neighborhood homes. You get a nice mix of country and suburbs in our neighborhood. We are right down the street from Shelby Farms which is a huge park with paddle boats, zip lining, bike rental and bike trails and lots more.
