The place was very clean and well appointed. I especially liked the decorative odes to Elvis, Al Green, Otis Redding and other Memphis giants of music. The neighborhood is akin to other cities' art/up-and-coming areas. A great benefit of this was being away from downtown but just just close enough that it was a 10-15 minute walk to places; very close to the Memphis Redbirds' stadium. Parking was a breeze. Security sound. Final note: The host was very communicative and helpful from the booking date to checkout. Could be walkable to Peabody/Beale/downtown, which is good since the trolly isn't running and hasn't been for some time. Also, there is no coffee shop across the street, as advertised, but there is a Keurig to use if you want to bring kcups. Nice for a dog-friendly rental and right next to the grassy dog area. Plenty of room for a family to spread out and quite comfy. Located close to Memphis attractions. The guest bath wasn't clean and there wasn't toilet paper. The microwave handle was falling off. The floor was dirty. The bed pillows were dirty. The neighborhood felt shady.
