Exceptional charming boutique hotel and courtyard
Stayed the second week in October for 2 days at this charming hotel. Annamaria was very welcoming upon our arrival offering us a welcoming drink in the gorgeous courtyard while we checkin and bags brought up to our rooms for us. The breakfast was fantastic having everything you could want from pastries, cheese and cold cuts, assortment of breads and eggs made to order. The location is quiet and has everything closely. The room was unique and well equipped with bottled water, tea/coffee and a cookie, robe and slippers plus a fantastic jetted massage shower ! Annamarie took care of all our needs whether it be recommending dinner restaurants, transportation questions getting the bus to Agios Nickolaos or prior communications by email answered promptly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others !

Gorgeous small luxury hotel in heart of old town
Luxurious small hotel, our room was absolutely beautiful with a lovely spa bath and a balcony where we could sit and drink a g&t and admire the lovely courtyard. Breakfast was very good too and the service was excellent everyone was so friendly and passionate about the area

Quite location in the old town, convenient to shopping and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. Stayed in the Rodon room. Wish they had better lights by the bed for reading, but that's being picky. Parking is nearby and a short walk.

Luxurious hotel in the heart of the old town
The hotel room is located in the old town of Rethymno and the room was very elegant. It comes with a jacuzzi and very comfortable bed. It was spacious and the breakfast was great. The staff are very helpful and polite. We had a really pleasant stay in this hotel.

Fantastic stay
If you are reading this review then you probably want to know why you should book it: 1. Fantastic location on a quaint/quiet street in the old town of Rethymnon 2. Spacious, elegant rooms with everything you should require (inc. a jacuzzi bath!) 3. Staff are friendly and helpful and catered for all our needs during our stay 4. Breakfast is great! A choice of cereals/toast and condiments with juice, tea/coffee delivered to your table along with ham/cheeses and pastries. Eggs ordered (no charge). 5. Outside courtyard is lovely to have a coffee and relax (as well as eating breakfast) 6. Value for money ... quite a few other boutique hotels charging a lot more! 7. Awards... rated very highly among booking companies .... I could go on! The only negatives for me were the wi-fi speed, which was manageable but at times it wasn't fast enough for uploading photos/watching films etc. and the TV channels on the TV.

Lovely hotel, great location, lovely breakfast
They gave us very good instructions as to where to park, and then it was an easy 5 minute walk to the hotel, all flat so no problem with our luggage. Breakfast was lovely served under cover in the courtyard. We had fresh cooked eggs and plates of pastries and fruit and yoghurt. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

The best spot we stayed, and oh the shower!
We stayed in six different places through our trip in Greece, and this was definitely our favourite. Mariana at the front counter is so lovely, and is the true host. She was very helpful and the service was superb. They serve a wonderful and huge breakfast each morning in the beautiful garden. The location is perfect and close to everything. The room is comfortable and quiet. And oh, did I mention the shower?! I actually think it was the nicest shower we've ever had. So much pressure and numerous jets, it sounds funny but was kind of a highlight!! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in this this. Enjoy!

Rethymno base to explore Crete Central
First time in Crete, this hotel made us welcome and was a great base to explore the city and to drive out into the central part of the island. Their location was the best, in the narrow streets of the old town but just off the main area to be quiet at night. We feel we got exactly what we wanted from the hotel, and they had a great attitude to helping whenever we needed anything.

Just brilliant!
The rooms were absolutely stunning and the garden where breakfast was served was beautiful as well. The pictures I saw before arriving didn't do it justice - everything was much nicer than I expected and the rooms were spotless. In terms of hospitality, everyone made sure we were comfortable and we were offered complimentary drinks (ice tea and coffee) both when we arrived and before we left. The breakfast was also very impressive, with eggs/omelettes being prepared according to your wishes, pastries, fresh orange juice, fruits and more. Internet connection is good too - I had a video meeting for work one morning and it went smoothly. In terms of location, the hotel is at the end of the old town which means that everything is within walking distance, yet not too noisy.

Snart boutique hotel in the centre of the old town
Stopped here for a week very recently and really enjoyed our stay, our room (narcissus) was really nice, cosy, very clean and with some excellent touches, breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the staff could not do enough for you, would certainly recommend for a relaxing time in rethymnon or as a great base to explore the area

Relaxing getaway
The hotel and staff were fantastic, there was nothing that they couldn't do for us. They recommended restaurants helped with day trips and generally made us feel special. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It is small and properly boutique. I would go back anytime. It is in the middle of the old town of rethymnon. Walking distance from cafes restaurants and the local harbour. The hotel employees made our holiday a relaxing experience.

Small, friendly, comfortable and clean hotel
This is a lovely small hotel in the old town. The staff are extremely welcoming and go out of their way to look after you during your staff. Breakfast is a Greek feast with freshly squeezed orange juice each morning. It is 10 mins walk to the bus station if you want to travel to other towns. I would recommend this hotel if staying in Retheymon

Beautiful, charming, close by & great service
This hotel is charming with amazing architecture and interiors. It is so quaint and unique. The staff are outstanding, friendly & very helpful! Breakfast was delicious and substantial. You can get to all major attractions and shops by walking. Plenty of nearby places to eat and drink at.

Beautiful central hotel in the old town
We stayed a week in this peaceful hotel in the old Venetian part of Rethymnon. Central location near to the harbour and fortress. Beautiful courtyard and restored villa - romantic and peaceful. Lit with candles and soft lighting at night. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast included.

Amazing hotel in the heart of old town
Stayed at the hotel with my family of 4 for 5 nights and can't find a single thing we didn't like. Central location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

Great hotel in the centre of the old town
Great service , really clean room , great location , all the staff were so friendly . Wonderful breakfast in the delightful courtyard . We had the Daphne suite which was beautiful , with a 4 poster bed and Jacuzzi bath . Can't recommend this hotel highly enough

Excellent stay
The hotel was wonderful: great location in a pedestrianised area, charming, a delightful courtyard in which a copious and delicious breakfast is served, absolutely lovely staff - like everywhere in Crete, as far as I can tell. Two things: 1) Because it is located in the Old Town where there are no cars, parking needs to be a few streets away. Ask for clear directions before you head for the hotel, as it is not easy to find. 2) The local beach is sandy but extremely busy and is a pretty horrid 'resort' with speed boats, sea doos, banana boats, hundreds of sunbeds, bars that serve alcohol all days... Ask hotel staff for fantastic beaches to the West of Rethymno, with little tavernas, and you will have a fabulous stay.

Quiet position in one of old town's narrow streets. Very friendly and helpful staff - nothing too much trouble. Plenty of variety for breakfast. Large bedroom with good facilities. Had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

Best hotel in Rethymno.
Absolutely lovely; highly recommended. The service and room were superb, as was the breakfast. The location is very central. No noise to speak of. A beautiful courtyard. And very comfortable accommodations. Without a doubt the best hotel my wife and I stayed at in Rethymno.

Lovely hotel in the Old Town
We got married in Rethymno and chose to stay in this hotel prior to our wedding, and for our wedding night. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and the hotel is really nice. On the day before our wedding the staff checked to see if there was anything they could do to help out. They really went above and beyond what I'd expected from them.

Best place to say in Chania
This lovely hotel is located just a short walk from the center of Chania, giving you easy access to the Old Town without the noise/busyness of staying right in the heart of it. The property is beautifully appointed and spacious, and Madame Athena and the other women who help run it are very gracious and hospitable. Madame Athena gives great restaurant recommendations, too. We loved the pool area, and the breakfasts are beautifully served and delicious. Staying here was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Crete.

Very comfortable and romantic, great location!
We stayed here for a romantic weekend. It is absolutely everything people say it is, with friendly and welcoming staff and very comfortable rooms. We stayed in January and it was well-equipped for winter with a quiet, efficient heater, warm bedding and lots of fluffy rugs. The architecture is beautiful and we loved our room, Amaryllis (a junior suite on the second floor, accessible by private staircase from the courtyard). The room was great, the Jacuzzi tub and hot water worked well, the bed was heavenly! The courtyard of the hotel features a small fish pond with a trickling fountain, which was very peaceful to hear. The location is excellent in the historical quarter. The streets are a maze so make sure you have a map, but it is a quiet location with lots of beautiful streets to wander and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was lovely, a nice selection of fruit, cereals, and yogurt, along with some hot appetizers, eggs, and meats. I appreciated that they asked about any dietary concerns when we checked in. I was impressed and really appreciated the care and attention of the staff. They do a superb job and provide a luxury experience for a very reasonable price. The only downside was that we could hear our neighbors in one of the rooms quite well. They discussed something loudly all through nap time and then started in again in the morning, which did not make for peaceful relaxation.
