While officially a studio apartment, the queen bed is situated in a separate split-level space, complemented by large block-out blinds ensuring privacy and minimal light interference. The boutique apartment features contemporary furnishings, top-notch appliances, quality linen, towels, and a spacious kitchen with ample storage. There is also a pull out double bed (from below the raised bedroom) should you need to accommodate a couple of extras. It is only a short walk to Chinatown, and some of the best shopping, theatres, restaurants, cafes and bars in Australia are on your doorstep. Melbourne Central shopping centre, the Bourke Street Mall, Carlton Gardens and Melbourne Museum/IMAX theatre, Crown Casino, the Emporium, Federation Square, and the aquarium are all within easy walking distance. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, its free, and you dont need a Myki card. GETTING THERE Its easy to get to Merigold 21 on Collins. From the airport, you can just take a taxi, or you can hop on the Skybus to Southern Cross Station. From there, its a short walk and a free tram ride up Collins St to Swanston St, and Merigold is just across the road from where you get off the tram, and a few steps back to Manchester Lane.
