Bed, sheets, pillows cases are cleaned but l smelled the pillows, probably those pillows are very old or they were never cleaned. The hotel staffs are very nice and helpful.

Fantastic check in experience with even being offered a sparkling wine as we checked in. Points off for the hotel bar closing at 9.30pm on a Friday night when still plenty of guests and more coming back from theatre shows etc.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I particularly chose it for the valet parking as well as the room being sound proof especially being in the city.

I booked the accommodation in my partner’s name with the intention of paying myself on my arrival Friday night after work. She arrived from overseas and no one helped her with her 30kg suitcase and other bag. When I discovered immediately after she checked in that her card had been charged, no choice, I rang to sort it out. Got a technical response “booking says POA” and no apologies and no attempt to help at all and not what I expect from a 5 star hotel! If I hadn’t turned up, there would have been no problems charging my card! These were significant irritations to what was otherwise a great stay. Friendly staff, my baggage was sorted out for me immediately (I didn’t have to lug it around) valet parking was great, breakfast was great, reception staff were great. Excellent location close to Parliament Station, Chinatown, Bourke Street, Collins Street, Vic Market.

I had booked for city views was a bit disappointed that they changed my room to a lower level with a brick wall but had a court yard when i booked I avoided the courtyard for the city view my only complaint and even told them when checking in was disappointed

Nearly missed my flight due to valet service
Can't fault the standard of accommodation, facilities and dining however I nearly missed my flight the following morning due to a wait of 25 minutes to retrieve my car via valet parking.

We stayed for 4 nights as a family with young children in the city view room with valet and breakfast. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating our entire stay. Location is excellent and walking distance to shopping and lots of food (halal options too). Room was spacious enough with 2 large doubles, bathroom had a shower (hose head) which is great for little children and a large square sink basin. Buffet breakfast has a good standard spread of options - was pleased to see soba noodles too! My kids loved the indoor pool and spa, great for our stay in the middle of Melbourne’s winter. Thank you for the lovely experience!

Wonderful welcome and service from check-in (thank you Hank!). Very clean and spacious rooms. Convenient to theatres and shopping. Great meal at nearby Pepe's Italian. Would definately book again!

Loved the glass of bubbly on arrival at check in. Loved comfortable beds, very quiet rooms. Didn't love the digital clock alarm having been preset and going off at 6.00am Sunday morning! Also didn't love that we were advised parking would be $50 and we have been charged $60. We could have walked 200 metres up the road and paid $18

Wonderful from start to finish. Welcoming staff, we received a welcome glass of sparkling which was a lovely touch at check-in. It was a spacious room, clean and comfortable. Minor things, a spare pillow would be nice, and although the bathroom looked new it had a damp smell.
