Myself and a few friends head down to the cottage for a few days for the New Years, and just as promised, it was a spacious house with everything we needed for a quiet stay in for the New Year. We especially enjoyed the provided outdoor amenities which included an outdoor barbecue set and table tennis table. The hosts were very pleasant, and came to greet us upon our arrival and were very responsive to any queries we had during our stay. Feb 17, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location #### Lovely but not on beach front- 7 mins walk across nepean highway A lovely home, clean and spacious experience with a bbq and ping pong table and two lounge rooms. Feedback is that from reading the property advert i thought it said that the property was on on Long Island.. which means beachfront. I didnt realise we had to walk across 2 large main freeways to get to Long Island .. It was a 7 min walk but tricky with kids, towels, bags and scooters etc so we ended up driving to the beach which only took 3 mins. Perhaps I read the ad wrong so make sure you are clear of its position. Also the back room is not air conditioned- it has a fan and it was sweltering hot, so some of my family ended up having to leave early as only 2 rooms have a/c We couldnt unplug the bath and there was water in it when we arrived so we couldnt use it.
