This hotel is in an excellent location. Tram out the front and right next to the markets. The room is okay - but lots of stains on the carpet and furniture. It's very tired and needs a renovation. The room was cleaned each day which was nice. For price and location it's good.

I was so pleased with the staff attitude, the breakfast presentation and taste, the overall ambience of the hotel and the central location to pretty much anything from trams, train stations, the main CBD and countless restaurant options! I will definitely be back!

The property is conveniently located in heart of Melbourne. The management did little however to stop the excessive noise coming from a party in the court yard. This noise went on until 2am. After 2 phone calls to management to get party-goers out of the court yard, I was told they would soon stop and also that it was their right as they paid for their rooms which opened out to the courtyard. I was not compensated for this night of little sleep but I was compensated for the following night which I had booked but refused to stay.

It is literally right next to Queen Victoria Market and tram stop to take you down Elizabeth St. So insanely convenient, if nothing else. I found my room perfect for what I was using it for as a base for a work conference and the fitout is just "nice and chill". Staff were faultless.
