Excellent view from the apartment and it is nice to include free parking! Very nice amenities and kitchen ware! However, there are lots of rules made us feel that we were staying in a boarding school... We can see terms/compensations memo everywhere... "You have to pay $xxx if you not doing this this this"...

Nice rooms, good facilities. Clean, tidy, and in a good location for getting to Melbourne Showground. Staff and service are kind of non-existent - check in was slow, only one staff member on desk, no staff on checkout, but able to drop keys and leave.

Great city view

Location is great for Melbourne Showgrounds, Zoo and Flemington. Great view of the city. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for anything in this area. Only downside in my room was the lack of block out blinds.

This place has the best view of Melbourne you could ask for just a short trip in to city by taxi or bus / light rail all close , having a IGA next door was handy for supplies . the room had everything you own house would have , was more then comfortable the stay here and when back i will be staying again no hesitation , The secure parking and room access made you feel safe . Staff couldnt help you enough was a pleasure to stay

I emailed the hotel about cafes in the area & they told me there were heaps we got there & they were like 20 minutes walk. Got there & we were told to put $200 for deposit then got a phone call while in the room to come back down & pay for another $200 for the other room (we booked 2 apartments) I explained that was not stated in the email that there was only written $200 argued on the phone for 10 minutes, then the receptionist threatened to cancel our keys so we couldn’t access our rooms. I told her I will go down to sort it out in a bit because I was unpacking. This is after I got told that our 2 apartments that we had booked together a year prior weren’t on the same level either. 5 minutes later my sister calls me to tell me that she could not access my level because we hadn’t paid the $200 her & my friend went to reception & sort it out even though I had already told me I would be there soon. On top of that the blinds let light in not being able to sleep in as the first day of light shines in your eyes & room. No spare toilet paper or plastic bags for the 3 nights we stayed & no housekeeping either...not sure why they are called serviced apartments when they are not serviced daily. I real damper on our stay!!! I do not recommend bad customer service too & rude!!!

The room you got is not what you expected......

This "Garden View" room we got has a BIG DIFFERENT to what the introduction photos show in Hotels.com! Frankly speaking, those photos attracted us to book the room. But, the room actually we got is terrible: 1. all bedrooms are windowless, what we have are 4 sides wall, no air conditioner or ventilation, we have to open the door for fresh air intake; 2. no curtain wall down to floor like the introduction photos either for living area or bedroom, no corner view as well; 3. living area is much smaller than the photo show. 4. one small rubbish bag for 3 days usage, only two rolls of toilet tissue for 3 days 3 adults, broken refrigerator. Front desk said this is apartment, not hotel. We have to buy bag & tissue in 7-Eleven. But we do pay day rate x 3! Whatever, the advertising photos show us are too good, not reflect the fact.......maybe showing the best one room, but you need a lucky draw for that......very misleading, cheating customer indeed. As a loyal customer, I feel very disappointment to Hotels.com and this ALT Tower Service Apartment.

Amazing rooms. Very clean. Views are incredible. All you need in a self contained apartment. Beds are super comfortable. Staff were sensational. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. So genuine, truely lovely. A high level of customer service that you unfortunately don't experience much. Elenor went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. Highly recommend.
