Property Summary  
The "SWISSPEAK Resorts Meiringen" is a modern, child-friendly resort located in the heart of Meiringen, Switzerland, just 600 meters above sea level. Built in 2019, this four-story complex comprises 6 houses and 79 apartments within the residence. The resort boasts a range of amenities such as a park with plants, a meadow, a children's playground, a reception area, a lounge, WiFi, a sauna, a relaxation room, a playroom, a lift, storage rooms for bicycles and skis, a central heating system, and laundry facilities (extra charge). You can enjoy a yard, in-village location, internet WiFi, parking (limited spaces, extra charge), a tennis court, an EV charging station, and the option of an installment plan.  
  
Outdoors  
The resort offers ample outdoor opportunities, with walking paths starting just 50 meters from the property. Explore the nearby Reichenbach Falls (1.3 km), Aareschlucht (1.6 km), or take a cable car ride (1 km) to experience the surrounding scenic beauty. For winter enthusiasts, a ski bus stop is conveniently located 100 meters away, providing access to the Meiringen-Hasliberg ski region (1 km). Cross-country ski tracks are also available 14 km from the resort.  
  
Other Information  
Meiringen railway station is a mere 200 meters away, and there is an airfield within 6 km of the property. Please note that the resort is suitable for families, but groups of teenagers are only accepted upon request. Additionally, a railway line runs 20 meters from the property. The holiday rental was inaugurated in December 2019 and offers a limited amount of underground parking.  
  
Distances and Attractions  
Conveniently located, the resort is just 50 meters from a restaurant and bar, 200 meters from a bakery and café, 400 meters from a supermarket, 800 meters from an outdoor swimming pool, and 400 meters from an indoor swimming pool. The Hasliberg bathing lake is 14 km away, while the Brienzersee is 12 km from the resort. Nearby attractions include the Sherlock Holmes Museum (50 m), the Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg (9 km), the Brienzer Rothorn (13 km), and Interlaken (28 km). Golf enthusiasts can enjoy an 18-hole course 33 km away, while tennis courts and an indoor tennis center are located 800 meters from the resort. A riding stable is 10 km away, and a children's playground is within 100 meters of the property.

Unit Layout  
You will find yourself staying in a 2-room apartment that ranges from 39 to 44 square meters in size. The living/dining area features a comfortable and modern double sofabed measuring 160 cm wide and 200 cm long, a dining table, and international TV channels with a flat-screen television. This area leads out to a balcony or terrace. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed measuring 2 x 90 cm wide and 200 cm long, also providing access to a balcony or terrace.  
  
Amenities Included  
The open kitchen comes fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, an electric coffee machine, and Nespresso capsules (extra cost). The bathroom features a shower and toilet. Underfloor heating is available throughout the apartment, and the floors are parquet. You can enjoy your time on the 10 square meter balcony or 12 square meter terrace, both south-west facing, with provided terrace and balcony furniture. Partial views of the mountains can be seen from these outdoor spaces. Additional amenities include a hair dryer, free WiFi internet access, and the property is pet-friendly, allowing one pet or dog.  
  
Other Information  
The property is a non-smoking establishment, suitable for families on vacation. A fondue set (meat or cheese) and a raclette grill can be borrowed from the reception area with a refundable deposit. Just an example, the property is one of a type of property or apartment. Please note that the maximum capacity is 4 guests, with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom available in the unit.

This was a great place for me and my new puppy to bond! Convenient to grocery store, other shopping. Comfortable bed, all necessary facilities. Easy access to train and bus stations although I had a rental car which I usually used for excursions to other local areas. Excellent customer service.
