Kyauktan Ye Le Pagoda (Burmese: formally Kyaikhmawwun Yele Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda located in Kyauktan Township, Yangon Region, on a small island in Hmaw Wun Creek, a tributary of Yangon River. The pagoda was built with many Buddha's relics inside. Many Buddism came across the river by boat to the island. It shows how strong they believe in their religion.

Fires in Meiktila, Myanmar after violence between some certain religious groups. Turned out that many people had been killed during my visit to this place.

A really nice hotel stay from start to finish. Meiktila a bit off the tourist route but great to break up long journeys. The welcome from the reception staff was friendly and warm.
