Property good Room dark need more lighting All very clean Check in staff was disappointing. Asked to get upgrade from 1st floor. Told none available. Yet another in our group within an hour not only offered an upgrade voluntarily by check in person but at no extra charge Glad the other in our group had a nicer room with much nicer view but thought our check in person not very competent Also reception desk staff not at all knowledgeable of what’s going on There was an exhibit of the 100th Anniversary of Winter Olympics in Chamonix at Maison fraternialle and not only did staff not know about it but when asked was told it was cancelled It wasn’t Staff unaware of other events in town as it would have been nice to know of outdoor concert at place Mont Blanc. The Saturday market and the movie at the teleferique to the Aguillle de MIDI. There’s probably more that was going on but very unknowable reception staff For such a high end hotel guests deserve more Staff at ski shop OUTSTANDING eve one of them and very helpful and knowledgeable

Terrible location takes 45mins to get to nearest ski lift, no shuttle offered have to walk to a bus stop and catch a very packed bus. First room they put me in which was a family room sleeps four the bathroom was tiny you could not even properly close the door unless you stepped to the side

I stayed with my teenage daughter and we were really comfortable. The room was large and very well equipped (although there was no mini fridge there). The toiletries were really lovely. All around the hotel you had free hot drinks and water. I really enjoyed the cappuccino from the machine. The ski shop is very good. The ski bus is just outside the hotel. The spa in the hotel is the best one I have ever been to with sauna, ice room, ice bath, Hammam and a pool. It was great after a day of skiing just to relax there with a drink. The only negative was the breakfast. We paid 18euros each and we were told that our omelettes were not included into this. We were disappointed with the lack of choice and the fact that it was not included in the price of our stay. However there are plenty of local shops and restaurants around that we took advantage of. We would definitely come back but only if the hotel can accept our family dog.

Our stay was delightful, the cleanliness was above and beyond, they provided many towels, bath robes, slippers and toiletries. The hot chocolate and ice cream was a lovely complimentary treat. The spa and swimming pool facility made our stay even more enjoyable as for the kids who loved it very much.

Great location. Clean and quite room. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pool and Spa area is exceptional. Free beverage station in lobby was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely rebook next time in Chamonix.

Absolutely wonderful!!! The spa was simply amazing, the restaurant serving fondue and raclette was wonderful, and the location, staff, and atmosphere was perfect! I loved my room too - so clean, cozy, fresh, and comfortable! Also loved that there were bathrobes and slippers! 10/10 stay!

Great location with easy walking to main high street. Free water/hot drink station in reception was great. Spa was nice but could be crowded with not a huge amount of seating. Nice room with balcony view even for rooms that was advertised as no view. Good food in both restaurants and reasonable prices for a hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Minor negative comments. No fridge in room which you would expect for a 4* hotel. No milk sachets to make tea or coffee in room either. Lift was quite slow and seemed to have a funny smell in it constantly. Housekeeping was a bit slow as sometimes we were gone for hours and room still hadnt been made up. Breakfast ok but could be better (more fresh fruit etc not just in a fruit salad). More lighting could be useful for walk back from town in the dark. Despite minor negatives we would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel!

We stayed at the Heliopic for 5 nights. Our room was on the quiet side of the hotel and had a direct view of Mont Blanc. The room was very nice and kept clean by the staff. We loved the indoor/outdoor tables on the ground floor with chilled water always available. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the Akashon restaurant was lovely with a wonderful and reasonably priced menu du jour. The location near the bus terminal and lift was so convenient, with a short walk to the shopping district.

Ideal location, great staff and facilities
From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are extremely well looked after. The knowledgeable and helpful staff make sure that you're able to get the most out of your stay. The hotel is ideally placed for a short walk into the centre for food and drinks and even closer (60s walk) to the lift (Aiguille du Midi) to access the mountain. The Spa was ideal for recovery post mountain and pre meal!
