The room was great. Soft bed. My only complaint about the room is when the bathrooms were made, they didn’t think of people over 6ft. The shower head was about nose level and I had to duck to rinse my head. But that’s not super rare at hotels

Despite the encouraging photos and 'updated rooms', this is a very run-down old hotel. No elevators. It smells moldy and dank. The cable TV is very poor. I tried three different rooms before finding one with working air conditioning. And the best wifi signal I could get was 8mbps. Not a great place.

The condition of the hotel is run down. First we put into a roI’m below a smoking room. We could Smell smoke and went back to desk. We We’re upgraded to a new room but had no hot water. The beds were great and the new room was good except for no hot water. The hallway rugs Are worn and torn. The furniture in the lobby is saggy and uninviting. If I had not prepaid I would have left. The website that there were only a few rooms left in Brooks that night but the hotel parking lots were empty.

What you see isn’t what you get
There is actually two buildings. The old Heritage Inn and convention centre and the Heritage Inn & Suites. The picture you should online when booking is of the lovely new building - the suites building. But when you say, “ok book”, you are put in the dingy old, loud pipes, heat sounds going on/off all night, and chatty 0630 hour housekeepers outside your door in the mop closet building. The picture you have online doesn’t represent the space you receive. Would not likely book at this hotel again or through this site without doing some extensive homework first

The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the second floor and had to carry our suitcases up a flight of stairs, glad we weren't on the 3rd floor. We arrived around 9:30 PM and there was no one at the front desk, a note was on the counter saying they were away and would return. Waited for about 10 mins. when someone called to someone to come to the desk. The man that came was not overly friendly. We had breakfast on our stay on August 23/24 and we were very disappointed in the meal so we didn't even try breakfast on this stay.

Loved the bed . Loved the early check in very much disliked not having an elevator to get to our room we carry a heavy cooler with us in the summer almost killed me carrying it up the stairs.

The Breakfast-Included rate that we offer on Expedia includes hot breakfast at our on-site restaurant for 2 adults. Additional vouchers are available for purchase upon check-in if required or guests have the option of purchasing additional breakfast items from the menu in the restaurant during breakfast hours. We will follow up with our Front Desk staff to ensure this is explained properly to guests checking in to minimize confusion. Regarding the hot tub you have mentioned, this property no longer features a hot tub and all mention of a hot tub have been removed from all of our online booking channels. Although all WiFi routers that service the guest rooms do indeed have the same password, we have recently installed a separate router in the lobby that requires a different password.
