The motel looks a bit run down from the outside but the rooms have had some upgrades. The office staff were excellent, the room was clean, and bed was comfortable. Exactly what we needed for one night at a good price.

Overall not bad. Very dated. The floors were cold and was hard to sleep as you could hear all the cars going by and it was very loud. Front desk service was nice.

The desk person, Brian, is very personable and very helpful. The room was spare but very clean. The heating/AC unit has a fan that is very very noisy. Many of the TV channels are PayPerView. The accomidations are very adequate. I choose to stay again.

Don't judge a book by its cover
We booked this stay online and the hotel looked great. However, when we arrived we were a bit concerned by the outer appearance. We were only staying one night so we figured we'd go ahead and do it. Brian checked us in and was unbelievably nice and helpful. We got in our room and everything was fine. The room was clean and neat, we were thrilled with the amount of hot water there was, and the room heater worked very well. In the morning we met Fernando and he was also very nice and helpful. We had a nice breakfast in the breakfast room and definitely give this hotel a recommendation.

Front desk man was very willing to tell me how to get to the nearest auto parts store to replace taillights. Very personable. Older towels but everything clean. Free bottled wayer was appreciated too.

Great value. Room is exceptionally clean. Wonderful suggestion of Mexican Restaurant walking distance. Food was great and we received a 15 percent discount for the referral. Very happy!

I had a very nice stay here. The staff were super accommodating and had recommendations for food places nearby. When I rolled up on my motorcyle, they listened to my request to have a room near the parking lot, and then got the AC started in the room. The breakfast the next morning was simple, but the space was clean. Great value.

This property was older but clean and had a great pool with good free breakfast. And the staff was some of the nicest and helpful staff I ever met! Would totally come back!!!

Not A Great Place to Stay in Medford
There was no one at the front desk when I arrived to check in at 3:20pm. After waiting 40 minutes in 97 degree heat one of the staff (Brian) arrived and apologized that the person who was supposed to be working didn't show up that day. I checked in and discovered that the TV would not turn on. Brian came to the room and fixed the problem. The room is very basic, AC was so loud I had to turn it off so I could go to sleep. No tissues, tub not properly cleaned, shower diverter sent half the water down the drain instead of to the shower head. Breakfast provided consisted of muffins, white bread bagels, cereal (essentially sugar products). Significant amount of road noise. Would not stay here again.

Convenient location. Desk manager called while we we enroute to check up on the arrival because the office closed within the hour. He wanted to let us know how to access the room with the office closed. He was still at the desk when we arrived then cordially and efficiently checked in. Room was very clean but a little dated. In the morning, the on site manager ushered us into the breakfast room and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a layover stop for us, not a destination.

Clean room to sleep was all we needed
We made last minute same-day reservations and needed an inexpensive place to sleep for two nights. We got a clean room for $98 which was all we needed. Staff was lovely. Room and area was quiet.

The floors were covered in grey powder and the rooms smelled awful. The AC was very loud, but helped drown out the weird old swingers that were in the pool outside our door yelling for half the night and creepily beckoning myself and my daughter to “join them” every time we walked by. We asked for bottled water from the service counter and they claimed to not have any.

Sovana is in a commercial area yet they maintain basic services and safety. Customer service is excellent. Facility needs a bit of maintenance. Rates are very reasonable. We have stayed here several times and appreciate the service.

This was the cleanest hotel that I’ve ever stayed at !!! If I’m ever in Medford Or again this is where I’m staying. My compliments to the housekeepers that maintain the rooms the grounds are just as clean . This is the place to stay and the price is reasonable.

I didn’t like the pool towels! Old, small & scratchy! I loved the accommodating staff - Bryan & others. Very personable, kind and flexible. When my husband got sick Brian had great suggestions and allowed us to extend our checkout at minimal cost. I was also pleasantly surprised at the breakfast set up - - fresh fruit and quality bagels!

They only offer bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit and coffee the coffee machines doesn’t work half of the time. The pool is not heated so even do it’s hot the water on the pool it’s really cold. The pool area it’s dirty and they only clean the room on the 3rd day of your stay. I did ask the guy if they can clean my room on day 2 and he said no it will be done the next day. The whole Properly need some TLC

Clean the floors please ..
Although the front office guy was very accommodating and the room looked visually clean, the floor was very dirty. I walked barefoot from the bathroom to the bed and some of the wet towels ended up on the floor; both the bottom of my feet and the towels turned black from the dirt build up. The outside walking paths could use a good cleaning too. There were lots of nearby food places and a drugstore right next door which was convenient.
