Scandinavian Lodge with hot tub near Winterberg

The brand new lodges are ground floor and attractively furnished. There is a spacious cozy living room with high (beamed) ceiling, open kitchen with the latest equipment. From the living room you walk through the patio doors to the terrace and the veranda with a BBQ and a spacious dining table. On the terrace you can sit in the luxurious lounge set and the hot tub where you can enjoy under the starry sky. The hot tub can be set at the push of a button and stays at the same temperature. The lodge has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two bedrooms have double beds. The other two bedrooms have a Scandinavian bed with a French bed (140 cm) below and 1 person upstairs. Ideal for children but also suitable for adults. For the children there is a trampoline in the garden. The property has three parking spaces.

Prachtige lodge, geweldig uitzicht.
De lodge ligt aan de rand van het gehucht Küstelberg en kijkt uit over weiland/heuvels. Wij zijn begin december geweest en werden getrakteert op een dik pak sneeuw; dat maakte het uitzicht helemaal af. De lodge is uitermate rustig gelegen. Inrichting is erg knus en in ons geval helemaal in de kerstsfeer met kerstboom en diverse decoraties. Niet te overweldigend, gewoon leuk en gezellig. We kwamen aan in het donker en de verlichte kerstboom was geweldig. Verder is het huisje van alle gemakken voorzien en de keuken is goed uitgerust. Nespresso en regulier koffiezetapparaat, combi-oven, etc. Huis is duidelijk ingericht rekening houdend met kleine kinderen: er is kinderservies en meubilair in ruime mate aanwezig. Communicatie met de eigenaar verliep zeer prettig en vriendelijk en de instructies waren duidelijk en compleet. Absolute aanrader!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, man merkt, dass es noch relativ neu ist. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Vermieter im Vorfeld inkl. sehr guter Angaben, die allerdings etwas besser vom Niederländischen ins Deutsche übersetzt werden könnten. Positiv anzumerken ist, dass es bei voller Belegung auch immer noch verschiedene Möglichkeiten gibt, bei denen alle Bewohner zusammen sitzen können (z.B. Esstisch, Terrassentisch, Couch). Bäder sind ausreichend groß, Schlafzimmer könnten etwas größer sein. Küchenausstattung ist absolut in Ordnung, kann aber noch etwas ergänzt werden - hier haben wir erfahren, dass manche Utensilien gerne mitgenommen werden, was ich schade finde, da man den Vermietern und nachfolgenden Mietern damit schadet. Pool ist kein Whirlpool, sondern ein Hot Tube. Schade ist, dass man kein offenes Feuer machen darf, obwohl auf den Bildern der Website welches abgebildet ist. Mit einer Feuerschale sollte das problemlos möglich sein. Sehr positiv auch, es gibt einen Katalog mit Prospekten und Flyern , eine gute Bücherausstattung und verschiedene Spiele für jede Altersklasse. Wir haben über einen Getränkemarkt Getränke liefern lassen, auch das hat reibungslos funktioniert. In Medebach gibt es auch 3 Physiopraxen, wir hatten Glück und konnten Massagen buchen, die vor Ort im Ferienhaus durchgeführt wurden. Hier ist auf jeden Fall ausreichend Platz. Der Adventuraspielplatz ist ca. 10 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt, Parken kostet ab 2 € - wird auch kontrolliert. Bzgl. Essensbestellungen - zeitig überlegen, wo man bestellen möchte. Manche Lokale nehmen keine Bestellungen an - so ging es z.B. uns. Das Gasthaus Lichte ich fast um die Ecke, allerdings wirkt sie Speisekarte für uns etwas old style - aber jeder so, wie man es mag. Von den Vermietern wurden noch Empfehlungen für Lokalitäten ausgesprochen, die Kuchenempfehlung war es wert. Vielen Dank dafür. Rund um, wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad
We hebben hier een heerlijk verblijf gehad met een groep wielrenners. De omgeving is prachtig voor het fietsen. Het huisje heeft alle luxe om daarna bij te komen. Goede bedden, ruime veranda met 10 persoons tafel met de avondzon er op en een grasveldje om op te relaxen. De hottub is uiteraard ook een leuke extra. Een aanrader voor wie van luxe, rust en ruimte houdt.
