With 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 3 bunk beds, this welcoming space is perfect for families or groups. Cozy up in the living room with 2 futons for extra sleeping space. Enjoy all that Mears has to offer when you stay at our place located just off of the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and Lake Michigan. There could’ve been a few more kitchen appliances such as a blender, pots, pans, and the the ice/water maker from the fridge didn’t work. The fridge was leaking water from the bottom too.The hot water for showers wasn’t enough for our party of 13\. It’s advertised for 18 people. It would’ve been nice to have a grill to cook the fish we caught. We went out and bought a small charcoal grill.The beds were comfortable. Beautiful new build with lots of space fur a large group (we had 12). This house is located in a secluded neighborhood right on Lake Michigan. A few things of note: 1\. If you’re bringing a big group, you may wish to bring extra kitchen equipment like pots and pans. There is no grill, we did all our cooking in the kitchen.2\. Beach access is roughly a 1/3 mile walk from the property and vehicles are not allowed to park at the access. If you’re bringing lots of stuff to the beach such as canopies and heavy coolers, you will want to drive your stuff to the beach access, drop it off, and then return the vehicle to the property and walk back.3\. There are no window blinds/shades so when the sun comes up, you’ll know it immediately. If you want to sleep in, suggest bringing an eye mask.All in all, a very nice place that’s well worth the charge. Check out instructions are provided in a book in the living room so expectations are clear. A/C works great. Lots of camping chairs available to lounge around the yard/ deck with.
