Comfort Inn & Suites Hillsville I-77

8/10 Good

"It was conveniently located for us. Maps took us right to you."

Beautiful Sunsets & Amazing Stars in every season, Family-owned gem

10/10 Excellent

"This pet friendly cabin has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The host provided detailed info about the cabin. Check-in was easy and everyting was clean and easy to find. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a cozy retreat with beautiful mountain and meadow views."

Hotel Floyd

10/10 Excellent

"We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Floyd. The room, while simple in decor, was very spacious compared to name brand hotels. We appreciated that the room furnishings were mostly created from reclaimed wood from the area. All areas of the room were clean which is very important to us. Breakfast, served in a nice sized dining area, consisted of eggs, grits, toast, sausage, coffee, juice, and more. We loved that the hotel was within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The little farmers market was less than a 5 minute walk. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the mattresses in the room. They weren’t horrible but you could feel every movement if your spouse turned in the night. We enjoyed our stay and will return again."

Quality Inn Mount Airy Mayberry

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was perfect for our two-night stay in "Mayberry". Within 5-minute drive to everything. Room was very clean and staff was very friendly. The outside was also super clean. The pool area looked nice (we did not use it). The only complaint was the coffee maker and coffee. Coffee pot was one that uses some pod type packs, not a Kureg. And the coffee itself wasn't good. We brought our own, just in case, but was unable to make it due to the type of coffee maker. Otherwise, it was a great stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area."

It’s 5 O’Clock Here-Waterfront Cabin w/Hot Tub! Pet Friendly, Blue Ridge Parkway

10/10 Excellent

"You simply cannot go wrong choosing this property! The “It’s 5 O’Clock Here” cabin is absolutely adorable and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. When my wife and I arrived, we were immediately impressed by how absolutely immaculate the entire place was. Everything was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully taken care of.We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary here, and we honestly could not have chosen a better place. We had a fantastic and incredibly relaxing stay, and we truly felt like we had nothing to worry about. We explored Fancy Gap, Galax, and Hillsville, and had an absolute blast spending the day in Mount Airy, NC—Andy Griffith’s hometown, which is only about 20 minutes away. We also did quite a bit of hiking and were completely taken aback by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. But some of our favorite moments were actually spent right at the cabin. We spent so much time in the evenings and early mornings sitting on the covered porch, relaxing in the hot tub, reading a book, or simply enjoying a meal together. And the view from that porch is absolutely awesome! We appreciated the property and the host so much that we're actually entertaining the idea of coming back and renting both cabins—one for us and one for my wife's brother and his wife. That should tell you just how much we enjoyed our stay!To make a long story short: RENT THIS PLACE! You will have absolutely no regrets. Thank you Laura!"
