"The Highland Inn is a terrible location. We did not stay. The room smelled like smoke. The bed was curved. There was a 1/2” gap under the door. The safety latch had Ben broken off. We checked out as soon as we had checked in."

"It’s such a cute, quaint place. Cozy. Not much of a view, barely see the lake. But, that’s really minor. We didn’t drive up there to view the lake from the room! Check in was the easiest, most casual check in I’ve had, which was very cool. If/when I get up there again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here."

"We had a wonderful time at Blue Jay! We were a group of 14 (8 adults, 6 children) celebrating some milestone birthdays. The house was just perfect for us in terms of room arrangements and beds. Blue Jay sits above a beautiful cove on Lake Arrowhead with a lovely view. We spent most of our time just enjoying the docks/decks/patios and the view. Bill, the host could not have been more accommodating, attentive or easier to work with. His suggestions for activities and ways to spend our time in his home and around the lake were very helpful. Kayaking and canoeing were great fun as was swimming off the dock. In a word.....it was FANTASTIC. Lots of conversations were had about returning soon."
