"This cabin is rustic but has all the amenities (plus some) of home. It is isolated but close to everything. It was great to explore trails and the Red Woods. Then come "home" to a comfortable cabin with warm wood stoves, soft beds, a cup of coffee/tea or a glass of wine. The hosts are great people too!"

"We love this place, totally private and secret. John is the perfect host. The couple minutes it takes from town to the SBR… is amazing all by itself. The small secret beach was a bit slippery and muddy close to the bottom but we made it down. The deck is unbelievable and the room was really clean and nice. I would stay again."

"This was an awesome stay! The location is PERFECT. We were minutes away from multiple beaches, tide pools, beautiful rivers, farmers markets and those amazing redwoods! "We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. I was amazed how close it was to town & how the cabin was stocked with literally everything we needed from bathroom supplies to kitchen supplies. Someone could literally live there. I am happy we got in before prices go up for the busy season but I will definitely want to stay there again!! "My husband and I, along with our mothers, spent 3 nights here to attend our son's Humboldt graduation in December. It is spacious, clean and had everything we could need. Though we didn't do any cooking, the kitchen seemed well equipped. If I ever come back to the area with a group, I would definitely stay again."

We did some hiking each morning, we’d stop for lunch, head back to the property, soak in the hot tub and then make dinner in this awesome kitchen. Place was super clean and kept in top shape."
