Courtyard in the middle of the home, with a fire pit. 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Wi-Fi Only house on the mountain with a swimming pool ! On nice nights, be sure to warm up in the courtyard by the outdoor fire pit. There's also cornhole boards and a giant Connect 4 game in the covered porch. We bought this home in 2018 and continue to upgrade it. November 2023 - new granite countertop in kitchen, new flooring throughout first and 2nd floor. Master bedroom is on the first floor with an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs has the other 3 bedrooms. One has a queen bed, one has a double (full) bed, and the 3rd bedroom is the Bunk Room w/ 3 bunk beds. 2 are twin/twin, the 3rd is twin/full. All bedrooms except #2 have HD TVs w/ Roku boxes w/ YouTubeTV and Max/HBO. There is a. 55" TV above the fireplace in the living room. 3 full bathrooms. One has a tub, the other 2 are shower stalls. Chess/checkers table in living room, along with some children play sets, Uno, Phase 10, and assortment of books. Rooms come with clean sheets already tucked in for you, and a towel and face cloth for each guest to use. We even have toothbrush holders by the sink. The bathtub and showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash so you don't need to bring your own. You might want to bring your own pool towel, or you can just wash and dry your bath towel in the washer & dryer we have by the pool room. Don't worry we have detergent too. We now have more vacation homes you might like too. Read our profile to see the other homes. \* Sorry, we can not allow animals at this home, no matter how small or well trained because our kids have crazy allergies. Massanutten is truly a 4 season resort. Massanutten Resort has many great activities available to book online through their website. Massanutten offers skiing, snow and grass tubing, 2 golf courses, an award winning indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-carts, There are also about 30 miles of hiking trails. Most Resort activities are available to our guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through Massanutten Resort's website. \*\*\* Massanutten Community Rules This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat. NOISE • Quiet hours: 10 PM - 7 AM. • Keep noise indoors during these hours. • No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents. PARKING • Keep all tires off the road. • Don’t block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your host. • Park only in designated areas or overflow lot 4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840 • No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. The home was very clean and the pictures and description of the home were accurate. The home was also well stocked with kitchen items and essentials. We had a wonderful stay with extended family. Only thing that made me nervous is the bunk room had glass sliding doors out to a second story balcony with railings wide enough my 3 year old could easily fit through. What more can you say - there’s an indoor pool! Our three kids were over the moon when they saw it and it was the focal point for the trip. Water was clean and temp was good (especially for the end of Oct) - basically spent the weekend in there! The rest of the house was solid: kitchen had everything for meals, tons of towels for showers, very good Wi-Fi, etc. And the host was very responsive via text when emails were getting swept up by a filter and not coming through. Our kids were a little too young to really get into what the resort has to offer in fall, but it was still a fantastic weekend and we’d definitely stay at the Pool House again! ##### Benjamin F. Marshall was very communicative and readily available whenever we needed to reach out to him. The check-in process was absolutely smooth. Whole family played in there as soon as we arrived. Lots of different places to gather, grandkids and I played on the glassed in sun porch, guys chatted in living room and daughters chatted while in kitchen cooking. Beautiful neighborhood for walking with trails and a nice playground. House was very clean. Things liked less: Oven is rather complex and requires a learning curve, suggest preheating on convection and then switching to regular baking. Casserole dish could use replacing. Overall, had a great weekend. Will probably rent it again in the future. ##### Joyce H. The pool was amazing, and everything was spotless. We enjoyed playing games and the grill worked perfectly. The surrounding area had fantastic food options as well. It was wonderful to be able to use the pool regardless of weather and with no need for the usual sunscreen layers. The house had everything we needed, the host was very responsive and it was a location that made it easy to get to everything we wanted to do. The home was essentially clean but it is old and dated. Though there are three bathrooms listed, only one is close to the three upstairs bedrooms. The air conditioning/coolness in the upstairs rooms also was lacking despite our cranking the thermostat to a low temperature. One of our biggest surprises was that despite paying for a cleaning fee, we discovered we were responsible for taking our trash to a location that was certainly not close. It also seemed that the location we were directed to take the trash might not have been a location where we were allowed to take the trash. We kind of felt like we were breaking some resort rule in doing so. In addition, we were surprised to see other homes near us with trash pick-up on the day we departed. Even with that, the house very much met our needs for a wonderful vacation. ##### Terri Z.
