The home features 3, king bedrooms. One is located on the first floor with an ensuite bath with walk in shower. Upstairs, there are two king bedrooms and hall shower with a shower/tub combo. All bedrooms have a SmartTV. The living room is bathed in natural light with cathedral ceilings and skylights. It features a gas fireplace to warm up by in the winter. A 65 inch SmartTV is also in the living room, just steps away from the game room. This allows for one part of your family or group to relax while the others release energy with friendly competition in the game room. The well stocked kitchen is a step up from the living room and features an open concept with ample space to prepare a meal for a large group. New appliances, granite countertops, and custom cabinetry make this kitchen a delight to prepare meals for your family and friends. A back deck off the living room allows for indoor and outdoor living. A gas grill on the back deck makes it easy for any cook to prepare a delicious meal. A screened porch allows you to enjoy a quiet space while enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening and listen to the babbling brook. A patio near the front door to the home, has a gas fire pit to enjoy the evenings. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths Bedroom 1: Main level, king bed, ensuite bath Bedroom 2: Upper level, king bed Bedroom 3: Upper level, king bed, skylights in ceiling Sleeper sofa in living room Sleeper sofa in game room Guests have access to the entire home except for one locked space for owner storage and supplies. An entry code for the digital keypad for the home will be generated specifically for you and sent to you before check in. All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. A washer and dryer are available in the home for your use. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, coffee maker, and the basics (filtered water, some condiments, some spices, etc.) - just add your favorite groceries. The flat driveway fits 4 cars in front of the property. Additional free parking is available in Resort parking lots. The house is 5 minutes from the ski area and about 10 minutes from the water park. Two golf courses are easily accessible and Painter's Pond is just down the road if you're in the mood for catch-and-release fishing. SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities. However, it is located inside the community of Massanutten and minutes from skiing, snow and grass tubing, ice skating, two golf courses, indoor/outdoor water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-karts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more! You’ll also have access to 30 miles of hiking trails. Most Resort activities are available to guests for an additional fee and should be booked online before your arrival, through TripForth's Ticket Link. \*\*Please note some activities may sell out in advance, especially on holidays and weekends. We cannot guarantee access to the amenities and amenity closure/availability is not a refundable cancellation reason.\*\* Outdoor surveillance is located on exterior entrances. It is motion activated. This home is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) and is governed by its rules and regulations as well as federal and state laws and ordinances. This is a residential community - please respect the community and the neighbors and know your nearby neighbors may be full time residents. \*Please review the HOA Rules below and in your rental contract when you sign. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents. This home has designated parking (a driveway). All tires must be off the roadway if parked on the road. Do not block fire hydrants. Do not park in front of another property. There is an overflow parking area if needed, located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten. Buses, campers, and RV’s may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed. No open fires permitted in Massanutten. This is a high wildfire risk area! Fires are strictly prohibited at this property except in the designated fire table provided. A spark screen must be used at all times and the fire may NEVER be left unattended. Fire pit may not be used during quiet hours of 10pm to 8am. Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions. No illegal substances are permitted at the home and open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area. No smoking inside the house. Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house, but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removed. Pre-approved dogs are required to be on a leash when outside. You must clean up after your pets. All Trash must be taken to the dumpsters located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten, at check out. A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed. Trash may not be left outside the home as it will attract wildlife which could endanger you and damage the property. Trash should be removed regularly. \*\*\*Pre-Approved Dogs are allowed for a $100 per-dog fee (plus tax), maximum of 2 dogs. \*This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids. Please be aware they may come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside. \*Please note that package delivery is not available at Massanutten homes. \*We are not able to honor early check in or late check out requests. \*Minimum age to book is 25. We couldn’t say anything better about this house. It’s literally the best rental we’ve ever stayed in. Everyone has their own kind size bed. Fully stocked with extra dishwashing detergent, trash bags, TP and paper towels (normally you have to go buy this stuff). They even provided some bottles of water and a nice selection of snacks, coffee and tea! My daughter loved the shuffleboard and Ms. Pac-Man. We came during the off season not realizing most of the resort was only open 12-4 on weekends but we still found plenty of activities within driving distance. 10/10! ##### Ellen H. From the waterpark to the other entertainment of the Resort to the comfort of the home, this one is a winner. Everyone was comfortable and could relax. It is peaceful and on a quiet street. Plenty of deer sightings! The house was nice and clean (and I'm very particular) and allowed for different spaces of peace and quiet of you have kids. Masanutten has lots of amenties buy we preferred to stay in the home most of the time for the comfortability. The beds were comfortable. Many different things that helped with the stay were full kitchen and pans and dishes, seasonings, kitchen tools, and even back up trash bags and paper towels. The only 2 things that were a minor inconvenience were the water pressure in the showers weren't great but sufficient and the latches on the doors were a little loud and could be heard through the house. It wasn't the worst thing since we wanted to know when our kids got up, but others might not like it. Plenty of comfy blankets and the tea and hot chocolate packets were awesome! We loved this home so much and it was hard to leave! Definitely a top pick for us. ##### Sarah D. The game room was lots of fun with many games and a shuffleboard table enabling us to have several tournaments while visiting. The game room and living room areas both included large televisions which allows for people to choose different viewing options. The kitchen was amazing and we appreciated the available spices, paper products, and extras included with the rental. The outdoors also had several areas available including a nice fire table area and a private screened in porch. It was a really nice relaxing home and as a bonus didn't have a steep driveway or loads of step to enter the home. Consider this home if you are looking for a fun getaway. ##### Helga A. I would have booked more days if I knew how enjoyable this property was. The home is very comfortable, well-stocked, and so relaxing. Due to the weather, we could only use the screened porch but it was very nice. The kids loved the game room, there are plenty of games to keep folks busy. The Resort is wonderful, and we enjoyed the Waterpark, even though it was only inside. The home is on a cul-de-sac. The Beds were very comfortable. Our dachshund's complaint was too many steps, but he's old. 😉 I highly recommend this property and want to come back to enjoy more of the Resort as well. Don't pass this one by.
