The Space: Important Notice: The driveway is on a steep incline and we recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle for the easiest access. Please ensure you are aware of and comfortable with the steep, gravel driveway, as it may pose challenges when entering or exiting. This 2,826 sq. ft. mountain retreat unfolds across three spacious levels, giving your group plenty of room to gather, unwind, and play. Designed for both connection and comfort, it’s the perfect setup for families and friends traveling together. Main Level – Gather & Connect The main floor welcomes you with a cozy living room featuring a fireplace and Smart TV — the perfect spot to relax after a day of adventure. Just steps away, a large dining table seats 12–14 comfortably, making group meals easy and memorable. The fully equipped modern kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain. A laundry room with washer and dryer adds convenience, along with a powder room on this level. Getting Around: Getting around the cabin is easiest by car, as this area is highly car‑dependent with minimal transit and low walkability. Other Things to Note: We’ve thoughtfully designed this home as a private retreat for comfort, connection, and memorable time together. To ensure a seamless and relaxing stay for you and our neighbors, please note: ✧ This cabin is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners, and other guests enjoying their retreat. ✧ The driveway is steep and gravel. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended. ✧ The cabin is equipped with a Minut noise monitoring device (does not record conversations). If sound levels exceed community limits, you will receive an automatic notification. ✧ Occupancy & Visitors Local guidelines allow up to 14 overnight guests, with up to 10 additional daytime visitors (maximum 24 people total on the property during daytime). ✧ Parking All tires must remain off the road at all times. Do not block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your host. Vehicles may only be parked in designated areas or in the overflow lot located at 4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840\. Coffee maker was not working when we got there , coffee was sent after I let them know, I do stress the fact of the steep area was a huge issue. no chalk for the pool table etc; We did have a good time but it was more stressful then it needed to be. My friends were never bored at this house, and they each had a fantastic time. The drive up to the house is very steep and then it is sometimes hard to see over the hood of the car, but all of my friends and their small cars were alright. We had a maintenance issue during the trip, but was able to quickly text the owner and get everything resolved. Everything about the house was perfect! ##### Miriam W. Plenty of space, plenty to do, and the phrase "well-appointed" kept coming up, including the well-stocked kitchen for a rental. The house was very comfortable and very clean. Good layout for families with kids of all ages. The house is close to everything Massanutten has to offer. One thing to note: at present the driveway is difficult to navigate unless you have 4WD. We didn't heed the warning from the hosts and consequently had had some trouble getting back up with AWD vehicles. Wound up parking on the shoulder for most of the stay and everything with that worked out fine. Would definitely recommend and would stay again! ##### Bill D.
