This home, located in Massanutten Resort, is the perfect place to slow down and reconnect. The open floor plan provides room for your group to spread out. The main level features cathedral ceilings, a living room with a comfy sectional and a flat screen TV, kitchen, and dining area with seating for 8\. The huge basement level game room is equipped with a gas fireplace, air hockey, a basketball game, a reclining sectional sofa and a flat screen TV. The back deck leads to a spacious private yard, where a fire pit is available for guests. You will feel like you're deep in the woods and connected to nature, all while being here at Massanutten Resort, the ideal setting for your family's next vacation. 4 bedrooms, 2 baths Bedroom 1: Downstairs, king bed, ensuite bath Bedroom 2: Downstairs, queen bed and full bed Bedroom 3: Upstairs, Two twin over full bunks Bedroom 4: Upstairs, king bed All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. All you need to do to get ready for your getaway is pack your clothes, toiletries and food. A laundry room with washer and dryer are available for guest use. The driveway fits 2-3 cars. SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities. This is a residential community - please respect the community and the neighbors and know your nearby neighbors may be full time residents. \*Please review the HOA Rules below and in your rental contract. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents. This home has designated parking (a driveway). All tires must be off the roadway if parked on the road. Do not block fire hydrants. Do not park in front of another property. There is an overflow parking area if needed, located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten. Buses, campers, and RV’s may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed. No open fires permitted in Massanutten. This is a high wildfire risk area! Fires are strictly prohibited at this property except in the designated fire pit provided. A spark screen must be used at all times and the fire may NEVER be left unattended. Fire pit may not be used during quiet hours of 10pm to 8 am. Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions. No illegal substances are permitted at the home and open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area. No smoking inside the house. Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house, but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removed. Pre-approved dogs are required to be on a leash when outside. You must clean up after your pets. All Trash must be taken to the dumpsters located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten, at check out. A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed. Trash may not be left outside the home as it will attract wildlife which could endanger you and damage the property. Trash should be removed regularly. \*This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids. Please be aware they may come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside. \*Please note that package delivery is not available at Massanutten homes. \*Minimum age to book is 25. \*\*\*Pre-Approved Dogs are allowed for a $100 per-dog fee (plus tax), maximum of 2 dogs. This house was perfect for our group of eight. It was spotless when we arrived and all of the rooms were as pictured. The kitchen/dining area was easy for everyone to maneuver around and was well equipped. The downstairs game room added extra fun for the kids, but we spent a great deal of time in the living room playing games/puzzles, and watching movies. We ordered take out Thanksgiving dinner from The Massanutten Resort and it was delicious. Plenty of leftovers, too! This home was the perfect spot for our mountain getaway! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Spacious home with a great backyard that included not just a great firepit, but even a staked dog run that was thoughtfully placed & just long enough for Fido to snuggle up with you at the chairs by the firepit, but not long enough for him to get into danger by reaching the firepit itself. The location being just 7-10 minutes from a large grocery store made things super convenient! We discovered some plumbing issues with the house and immediately called the property management company and they were super responsive and very nice. I really appreciated that they had the plumber come first thing the next morning. Due to the plumbing issue, the property manager came by the house to let us know that they are moving us to another house. Although it was unfortunate that we had to pack everything, clean the house to unpack in another house, the new place was gorgeous and they extended our check out time. We were very pleased on how the property management company handled the situation. It was beyond their control and they made sure we were taken care of. Our kids enjoyed the air hockey and basketball. The owners were quick to reply. The house is close to Massanutten resort. The only issue with the house is the basement is much colder than the other floors and the top floor is very warm, but it was fine. We would stay here again. ##### Emily S.
