Guest Access: As our guests, you'll have full access to the entire cabin, including all four bedrooms, three bathrooms, fully stocked and equipped kitchen, spacious deck for entertaining, fenced sideyard, and a two car garage. We want you to feel right at home during your stay with us, and we believe that having access to the entire house is the best way to make that happen. So sit back, relax, and make yourself at home. The Neighborhood: The cabin is situated in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect with close access to all of McCall's best amenities. Enjoy walking out the back deck to play golf at the McCall Golf Course or hitting Ponderosa State Park just across the street. Downtown McCall is just a short drive, walk or quick bike ride away, offering shopping, dining, and recreation options. For those looking to enjoy the water, Legacy Park, Mile High Marina, and Davis Beach are all less than five minutes away. Guests can also head five minutes east to Little Payette Lake for fishing. The nearby Ponderosa State Park is a great destination for biking and hiking, with amazing trails and beautiful views of the lake. Local wildlife can be observed and photographed, and guests are encouraged to take a leisurely tour around the lake. The cabin also offers a perfect retreat for winter enthusiasts as well. Guests can cozy up next to the large wood burning stove to stay warm and toasty after a day of skiing, boarding, or snowmobiling. There's a plowed walking path on the golf course just outside the back door for easy access. Downhill skiing or snowboarding can be enjoyed at Brundage Mountain or Tamarack Mountain. Nordic skiers can explore the 12 miles of trails at nearby Ponderosa State Park or head to the Bear Basin trail system less than five minutes east of downtown. Snowmobile access to the backcountry is just minutes away, or guests can sled to Burgdorf Hot Springs for an afternoon of soaking and relaxation. During Winter Carnival, guests will find the cabin's location is perfect - close enough to be part of the action and far enough away to enjoy a peaceful setting when they are done celebrating. Getting Around: Our two car garage can accommodate most all standard cars and pickups (it can fit two standard sized Toyota Tundra's). The driveway can also accommodate an additional 2-3 other vehicles, trailers or UTV's, making it easy for you and your guests to park right in front of the house. We are also excited to provide 4 cruiser bikes available to use with your stay, (locks included) beginning starting this Summer 2024. Location, coziness, stocked kitchen and perfect hosts.My son and I stayed here in January and were able to bring our 2 pups. We had a blast. The back porched literally walks out to the plowed trails around the golf course. We had so many walks and our pups had a blast running in the snow. The central location made it easy to go into town for groceries and a night out for sushi.The rooms are so comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything from amenities to even welcoming you with a yummy bottle of wine. The remodeled kitchen is SO organized and has every type of pot/pan, utensil, dish you may need to feed your crew.They even provided use of the garage, which is great in the snowy winter. They generously have provided snow shoes in snow and bikes and outdoor games for warmer weather. Did I mention the roomy deck with fire pit and grill?!I've never felt so cared for in a rental. Very well furnished kitchen with lots of everything. Took us a little bit to figure out the oven but just make sure you let the oven preheat without anything in it. Daughter-in-law cooked her first turkey ever and it was delicious! Beds were comfortable and plenty of extra blankets if needed. Thermostats in each room. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen well stocked. The host was very responsive to a couple of requests. We enjoyed the golf tournament that was going on that week. The 5th hole is right there. Golf snack shack is just down the cart path. Very dog friendly. The bathrooms are a little tight but fine. There were 4 of us staying there. We did have a last minute friend stay upstairs for 2 nights. Nice area upstairs, however, the stairs are narrow and steep. It wasn’t super far from town and since it was right on the golf course it was easy to go walk around in the snow. Amenities were great, and we really have no complaints. ##### Emily S.
