Easy 5 minute walk to main mercado and church. fun area. DON'T use "pulmonias" they are pricey, or get quote in pesos per hour BEFORE you agree. They keep the rooms and public areas clean and tidy. The included breakfast had a lovely large fruit bowl as well as various egg type offerings. It's a great location on Machado Square within easy walking to the Cathedral and the market. Most rooms have a window into the central area which is a bit dark. The pool is tiny, more like a water feature. Still, it is a fun and funky place to stay. Excellent live music one of the nights we were there. I love how decor was. Let allowed us to check in way earlier then the actual check in time which was amazing. We did get the room with the small pool right outside so there was alot of noise because family with their kids were swimming and making noise even around night time. The restaurant in the hotel had very good food was really nice but i did not like the service. They took a while to attend us and I had to remind them that we were waiting and there was only one table with a family and us.
