Good location great beach

Posted 21-Aug-2016
Pros: Great location. Shuttles to nearby hotels, Lahaina, shopping (outlet mall, Whaler's Wharf). Parasailing and surf lessons located just 5 minutes away
Cons: Can hear the plumbing from floor above.
Location: Ten minute drive to Lahaina, but there is also a free shuttle that runs every half hour that will drop you off at nearby shopping plaza & outlet mall.
We recently returned from 10 days at the Sheraton Maui. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were able to switch rooms from a king to 2 doubles after 2 days as we have 2 teenagers and we needed the extra space. The fridge was a good size and we were able to keep our drinks and COSTCO supplies cold. The WIFI was good but was part of the $25 resort fee. Parking was available. They charged $20 per day and gave us free valet parking for the first night. The hotel was in a good location. Great beach with good snorkeling and lots of turtles. For excitement you could jump into the ocean off Black Rock. There were rental facilities for snorkelling equipment, pool toys, paddleboards and there were also scuba lessons available. The room service food was pretty good and there is pizza delivery nearby. Luau every Mon and Wed nights and a clambake every Fri.. Burgers and nachos served at the Cliffside Grill where you can watch the sunset and the nightly Cliff Dive. Expensive hot dogs sold by the pool with good fries.

Great area for snorkeling. Excellent location

We just finished our honeymoon there and it is a great spot. Got a free upgrade to the Moana Wing which is nice and secluded and romantic. The hotel itself is quite large, lots of space so you don't feel crowded. The Black Rock is a great spot for snorkeling on both sides (hotel beach and golf course side).

exceptional staff and rooms

Posted 17-Aug-2016
Pros: accessability, cleanliness, and staff
Cons: nothing
Location: plenty of local craft and shops nearby, many within walking distance . We rented a car from Enterprise at resort and concierge kept us busy.
staff for cleaning ,check in, car parking, concierge were all over the top on waiting on you. We did not have 1 bad experience the 8 days we were there. Upgraded to a suite and felt like royalty. It was our first time in Hawaii and thanks to Sheraton Resort and Spa will definitely not be our last there. Thanks again for making this a most memorable experience.

Perfect location and service

Posted 16-Aug-2016
We stayed at Sheraton for 7 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The room was clean, spacious, with amazing view. Room service and daily cleaning were excellent. The beach and water activities offered were amazing, easy to book and with very helpful and friendly staff. The water pool had something to offer for every age. The restaurant and both bars situated next to the pool had delicious dishes and amazing cocktails. We used the concierge to book several activities during the stay and everything went perfect. The shuttle to Lahaina lives hourly and the new mall it's in walking distance. Overall our experience was excellent and I'll stay here again.

A LOT of walking, etc.

Posted 12-Aug-2016
1st day was terrible. Did not have the room we reserved. Had to change, but it cost us an additional $100. per day. In addition, we lost a day of vacation. Nice room, but almost 4 block walk from lobby to room. Beware of drinking water supplied in room it is $5. per bottle. SPG program is a complete rip-off at $25.00 per day!! Starbucks Expresso machine inoperable 5 days out of 7. Beach is lovely, but surf is brown and roiling sand. Highly recommend Cliff Diver Grill.

Nice hotel on beach.

Location: Free shuttle to Lahaina.
Great place to stay. Peaceful hotel. Not a wild party place. Extremely clean grounds. Kids will love the pool and beach. For hotel meals for 2 adults, budget $150 - $300 per day. Free shuttle every hour to Lahaina (no rental car needed). This coastal area lacks a breeze much of the day. Fun snorkeling in perfect water. Great beach.
