superb view !great location !

Posted 25-May-2016
Loved the hotel , the view was absolutely beautiful . Loved the flovers on the balcony . Loved the long beach walk . The hotel is in a great location right next to the ,, black rock ,, it was special to watch the torch lighting every night . Close to a shopping center . Lots of nice things about this place . There is a few things you have to know . There is a 25 $ resort fee per day and also 20 $ per day for parking . Internet only in the lobby that can be used without charge .I missed the bathrobes that they usually provide in other Sheraton hotels . What an amazing island Maui is ! A must see!!Cheers!

Everything was perfect and we were upgraded too.

Posted 22-May-2016
Pros: The facility was magnificent and the staff was professional and extremely helpful.
Cons: not a thing
Location: stayed on hotel and took in the sights by driving up the coast which was beautiful.
We loved our stay and we wished we booked it for more than one night.

Nice location, terrible employees.

Posted 22-May-2016
Pros: The location.
Cons: Staff's attitude (except the photographer, he was amazing). The cleanliness, welcoming the guests properly, providing information to the guests.
Location: The resort is right on the beach and they made sure that there are fish and THE turtle near the black rock, so you can enjoy snorkeling there.
We reached the hotel, were waiting for Valet parking for 5 minutes, then a person walks in and says something we couldn't even understand. Nobody welcomed us, we looked like lost tourists. We approached the bell girl and oh man what a terrible attitude. I tried to present my booking and she simply said with a straight face "Check in is inside". Come on, we were there for the first time, how in the world we were to know where to go? I asked her inside where and she rolled her eyes and said "Inside". No welcome, no simple smile but only arrogance. Then we go to the check in, nice guy, checks us in. But then doesn't tell us where to go. We find our way somehow and make it to the room. We had to wait for 30 min. before anybody brings in our luggage, then we had to call to remind them. The room was okay (last room in the corner btw), the bathroom mat was dirty as hell (we threw it out immediately), the furniture in gallery was dirty as if no one ever bothered wiping it down. Overall pathetic experience of stay for the dollar amount spent.

I expected more out of a Sheraton

Posted 20-May-2016
Pros: Location close to downtown Lahina
Cons: Service needs a drastic overhaul
Overall not what I expected from a Sheraton. At check in multiple couples were told that their room was not ready, however if you want to upgrade they offer you a room at that moment. We got caught with an oceanfront upgrade which was nice however the rooms with an ocean front view are just as nice and with bigger balconies. There is no service in the pool area unless you choose to rent a cabana, otherwise get it yourself. Beach was nice but you cannot use the hotel lounge chairs there it is towel on the sand. Room was cleaned well daily and bed very comfortable. I would stay again however only in ocean view room.

Great Staff, Beautiful Views, Okay Rooms

Posted 19-May-2016
We had a wonderful time at Sheraton Maui, we were a bit discouraged when we arrived and the rooms were not exactly what we expected. They could really use some updating, but the views were great and the staff was very friendly.

Excellent service and snorkeling right on Black Rock was a blast and breakfast and dinner at the hotel was very good and reasonably priced.

Pros: The location was good. It is a pretty resort.
Location: They had zip lining and snorkeling near by.
The only problem was we reserved a King Bed room with a resort view:; but when we checked in they didn't have a king bed room for us and put us in a room with 2 double beds.

Small beds

Posted 15-May-2016
I booked a room with a King Size bed, we ended up with a room with two full size beds, they said they were queens but they were not . My spouse and I had to sleep in separate beds. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain, and the coffee maker leaked water all over, the sliding glass doors were hard to open, my spouse hurt her fingers on them. Then they charge you $48 extra a day for that. BS
