It was Perfect!!

Posted 12-Sep-2016
Pros: What we liked most about this hotel was the suite; from the cleanliness of the suite to the very comfortable lanai with the amazing ocean-view!
Cons: More outdoor lighting in the parking lot area and along the walking paths within the resort; it gets dark at night and I did worry about tripping.
Location: The location is more secluded; it doesn't have the ocean-front but the ocean-view is amazing. Less people and very quiet area.
First, I will say that I am very picky as to where I stay, so for me to say this was perfect says a lot! Our suite was extremely clean; I was even comfortable with walking around the room and lanai (patio) with bare feet which is unusual for me (no rugs on the floor is a major PLUS for me as well). Our ocean-view was amazing; we used our lanai from early morning when having our coffee and breakfast, throughout the daytime sitting back on the chaise lounger reading and just relaxing, and in the evening enjoying the beautiful sunset; we spent a lot of time on that lanai! It was nice having a separate bedroom as my husband often gets up earlier than I do; I didn't hear him having a shower or making himself a cup of coffee. The kitchenette in the room was very useful; we bought muffins and fruit for our breakfasts, along with our own drinks and snacks; it was all kept very clean and tidy. Dishes and silverware were spotless and even though we didn't use many dishes, housekeeping even did them for us (a major PLUS in my books)! The bed was very comfortable; the linens were crisp and clean; housekeeping came in every day. We stayed five nights and enjoyed every one of them. We would definitely go back!

Perfect oasis

Cons: Adding a spa would make it just about perfect.
We spent 5 lovely nights at Hotel Wailea. It was a lovely, peaceful (child-free) oasis close chest and the resorts (for great restaurants and retail therapy). It is missing a spa - but there are spa options nearby and the courtesy cars will take you anywhere in Wailea in a jiffy. Great staff, lovely breakfasts. We couldn't have been happier that we took this option over the bigger name resorts.

The hotel was fabulous. John at the front desk was fabulous. Every single staff member at the hotel was fabulous. There was only one big disappointment; no night life. I assumed that since it was an all adult hotel; that there would have been a couple of nice cocktail lounges on the premise. My husband and I ended up going to the Grand Wailea and the Four Seasons for some nightly entertainment. Thank You, Sheila Hellm. Also the grounds were amazingly beautiful and picturesque.

Perfect honeymoon retreat

Posted 14-Jul-2016
My husband and I just left last night and can't wait to go back! From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and pampered. The staff are all so friendly, while still being professional, they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The valet service offered is a wonderful addition, we were able to travel around the Wailea area without having to worry about calling a taxi. Must do's during your stay: take the outrigger canoe with Kevin and his beach crew, it's included in your stay, visit James at the bar and ask for his off-menu offerings, and have dinner at Capiche?, it was incredible.

Very exclusive and private

Posted 1-Jul-2016
The hotel is gorgeous and well maintained from the waterfalls, flowers, trees and upkept maintenance. Daily sunset views from the balcony is amazing. We also had a private dinner at the treehouse which was a first and an amazing experience for my future wife she will always remember. The gym has an amazing view as well. Definitely recommended for you and your loved one.
