This place is awesome!

Posted 27-May-2016
For some reason because it had the word "Hotel" in its name I didn't have great expectations. However, the entire place is like a very high end NEW resort. The room was ridiculously nice. It was like a nice sized one bedroom apartment (NOT a studio). The oversized shower area is super cool with a rain shower head. The kitchen had Sub-Zero drawer fridge and freezer. It had a Nespresso machine with capsules (the best coffee you can drink!!). You would be hard-pressed to find a finer room anywhere. It is not on the beach. However, that is not a problem. The bellhops who valet park your car for no charge also run two shuttles, which are just Mercedes-Benz SUV's, to the beach (2 minute ride) and to nearby shops and restaurants. The pool area is tops. There is plenty of seating and towels. It's very quiet and relaxing. The pool bar is wonderful. James, the bartender, is friendly and helpful and will give you all sorts of tips for your visit to Maui. Upon checking in we casually mentioned it was our anniversary and they had a complimentary bottle of champagne sent down to the room. Did I mention there are no kids? You cannot go wrong with this place.

Excellent hotel

This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. But the staff really made the experience far superior to other resorts. Top notch place, and I would highly recommend it to any other couple.

Nice boutique hotel in Wailea

Posted 17-May-2016
Pros: Rooms, location, staff, quiet pool, food, very clean and well managed.
Cons: Lounge chairs by pool could be refurbished.
Location: Wailea is a high-end part of Maui with several big 4-5 star hotels, shops and restaurants. Golf is fantastic, although somewhat pricey.
This is an excellent, adult only hotel in the Wailea area. Rooms are large and modern luxury decor, with fridges, some utensils, Nespresso machine, etc. The hotel is very quiet with a limited number of guests. Pool area is never noisy and seating area is always available. Great pool bar with fantastic food, drink and service. The 5 star restaurant "Capische" is exceptional.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: There is no "shop" to buy dry goods.
Location: Close to everything!
Without a doubt the nicest place in Maui. Adults only, close to everything, impeccable service and beautiful room suites... It's all here. A resort without the resort feel... A five star place without the five star stuffiness. The best thing we can say about it is we can't wait to come back!

Excellent hideaway paradise.

Posted 5-May-2016
Pros: The view from the Lanai!! And the quality of interior of suite.
Cons: Since they have fairly good size fridge in the suites, why not have some mini-bar selections?
Location: Hotel bell can take you to Wailea Beach and set you up with an umbrella, a couple of long bed chairs, plush towels, and cold water bottles, for free!
Unlike bigger and more touristy resort hotels on the beaches, including Four Seasons and other luxury hotels, this hotel has its serenity and intimacy of fine quality private stay with very attentive services with touches of Aloha. We stayed in room 083, which I believe has the best view in this hotel, had truly a sweeping panoramic view of the Pacific ocean with 4 islands (Kahoolawe, Molokini, Lanai, and the other side of Maui). Fantastic restaurant also has this great view, or they also have more cozy in-the-garden tables.

Perfect place for a honeymoon :)

The staff goes above and beyond for you. The whole resort is immaculate and very private and romantic. If you have the chance I would go to the mixology class at the pool bar, the bartender is hilarious and makes awesome drinks! I can honestly say we did not have one complaint during our entire stay.

3rd time here fantastic hotel

Posted 22-Apr-2016
Love this hotel - quiet with no kids, great rooms and pool. So easy to get to the beach if you want to go via the Mercedes shuttles that will take you anywhere for breakfast, shopping or dinner too. Can't wait for the spa to be finished (but they have a deal with Grand Wailea spa until then). I do wish they had a little store but that is a tiny nit. Sign up for the mixology class if you can - James the mixologist at the pool bar is hilarious and makes the best margarita!

Good location. We did not care about bot being on the beach. Great included daily yoga and fitness activities even a cocktail class. Valet service took us anywhere we wanted in Wailea anytime. Super nice staf.

A beautiful hotel with the best restaurant in Maui

Posted 31-Mar-2016
Pros: The staff, the rooms, the pool, the bars, the shuttle to nearby shopping and dining.
Cons: Longer hours for the dining options would be nice.
Location: The location is great--near Wailea beaches and several other great restaurants and shopping.
It was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel staff are kind and accommodating. My room was clean and well appointed. Can't say enough about the great experience.
